Import and Export Tracks as Files (New Editor)

Hey guys, just working on the importing and exporting of tracks.
As we all know when you paste large track codes into the import box, it can get quite sluggish.

In the new editor, I have made the paste very quick , and no longer lags. In addition to this, I have added support for file import and export (working on export right now ). It is very quick to import tracks now, and should allow you guys to share tracks easier.

I have more or less completed exporting tracks, you can save tracks to file automatically.
Another thing I wanted to show you guys is track merging. You can now import tracks without clearing the current page. I am not sure on the practical use of this, but it is there, and is not limiting you guys in any way.

so basically you can drop in text files? Is that all or is there more?

 

I am hoping to add support for a compressed binary version of the track format. Maybe a .frhd file. Im not sure yet. For those who make very large tracks, this is a pretty big step forward.

 

but can there be an option to export regular code as well?

I am looking into different ways to achieve this.

 

I have a **** pc and my big tracks still load insta.

 

i3 processor 3.3GHz
4GB Ram.
Integrated graphics
Word makes it lag like ****
Yet FR2 and Notepad with 4kk track doesn't even phase.
10/10 beautiful logic.

 

My jaw literally dropped when i saw that.... OMG this is gonna be sick!

 

it's so cool of you guys to always keep us players up to date on things like this, I've never seen a game where the developers are so active in the community, thank you for the work you do, we really appreciate it!
