Round 8 Results and Commentary
We are almost at the end of GBC5, and Round 8 was closest yet!
Zonkalization published the Round 8 track. Easier than most of the other tracks, it was a real test for who could shave the most time off their ghosts.

Round 8 Times and Current Rankings
Cerasium and
Xenom lead the way with
Anonyymi on their heals.
Uniior is a distant 4th and
isekeb rises to 5th after
Stevie.T failed to ghost the round.
Egona narrowly leads
EGRIFFITH for Rising Ghoster Medal with
Eunos just behind them.
Round 8 was really all about
Cerasium and
Anonyymi. After trading ghosts,
Anonyymi was 1st for most of the round, an uncommon occurrence due to Cerasium's dominance this contest. However, towards the end of the round, Cerasium edged out Anonyymi for first with a time of 22 flat.
Xenom and
Uniior locked in 3rd and 4th, and everyone else between 5th and 11th were seperated by less than a second:

Cryx,
Zonkalization and
pawflix earned themselves 2 points for making the top 15,
triip and
Protvod were close behind as well.
JustAGDFan,
panda_rider,
nhdtop and
Phasetree brought up the closer end of the field,
Ponjoja,
HtH_RIDES and
SirHuman01 got just over 30 seconds.
VA17Gaming was the big outsider with their 1:31.6-second ghost, finishing last among the completionists.
Only 5 people didn't ghost Round 8, a big improvement from previous rounds:

TPlacella Award for Round 8
Anonyymi reached the top 2 for the first time in a round and is the winner of the TPlacella Award for Round 8, especially the contest between Cerasium this round.
Round 9
This round was meant to be done by
KenosDK, but I have heard no reply from them. If nothing eventuates in the next 40 minutes,
Cryx and
Clash06 have a backup track they can publish
