was i the only person in this thread who was talking about overall goat? as y'all are just saying the same names for ghosting, trackmaking and forums. no one comes close to mR..A with everything combined

 

i think people judge who the goat is based on what they personally value such as different aspects of trackmaking, different types of ghosting, achievments, things they've done for the game like being an admin, mod, running contests, or just the individual personalities. they're all valid perspectives imo. if you take everything into account then yeah it's probably mr..a, great trackmaker, great ghoster, was an admin, did some cool contests, and said that we are high definition riders and we are free

 

2 pages in and tplacella has already nominated himself as best at nominating people as frhd goat. perhaps he will soon use this to suggest he's the best overall...? more at 5

Yeah I also have Maple as the goat of trackmaking. I agree and I think that mr..A is the most compatible answer for all round greatness.

in frhd, maple is really undisputed as the goat trackmaker. i just dont think quantity (ala, the eli argument) is compelling enough to overcome the sheer quality of maple's feats. i have no idea who would be the ghosting goat on here given how much cheating occurs, and how often the person with the most amount of feats changes hands; ig at this point, though, it's likely cerasium? forums contributor is tough. pssst, totoca, max, mr..a have all contributed a lot. mr..a is definitely the goat of all the above, not really a competition in this regard

but - when considering the free rider series as a whole - i think there's only one answer, at least for trackmaking

stig is likely the greatest free rider trackmaker of all time, when considering longevity + peak. he's played since the very beginning and has been a top 3-10 trackmaker in every game, culminating ofc in the super mario bros frhd track. his only rival in this regard is probably eli, who wasnt as good early on and i think started a bit later, though ofc has him beat in quantity (of feats) later in the fr/cr series
