Not quite. I will be checking race data at a later date, but for now, testing legitimacy only checks for the 'tas' property in the race data which most tas users that don't abuse it would have in their race data. The caution sign appears when a race has a time that's sort of suspiciously quicker than the average of the leaderboard. I wasn't quite sure how to do it, so I did some random maths until it got some right. I think it checks if the time is less than the average minus the difference of the last person on the leaderboard and the next person's time. I don't think there's any math that will be 100% accurate since there are some difficult tracks where times will be spread out, but I guess it's better than nothing.

Rolled back the extension to version 0.0.41 due to a few bugs that were causing the game and the extension popup to function incorrectly. 0.0.42.2 is releasing shortly featuring these changes.

Updated the main post to better reflect the features included in the mod. A few changes coming in the next version. Included are the following:
    • Adding/removing a race will now automatically update the URL to make it easier to share a challenge
    • When completing a track, your new best race will automatically be loaded
    • When your connection is lost, your race will automatically be saved locally and upload as soon as you regain an internet connection
    • Curve tool has some new maths and options. You can now change the break length when the brush tool is equipped
    • A new option was added to the extension popup allowing users to choose whether the control point on a curve is on the curve when drawing a curve instead of being 2x away from it (not yet implemented)
    • Added an option to disable in-game analytics in the extension popup
    • When attempting to paste (ctrl + v) in the editor, the import dialog will now open

Been keeping an eye on this mod for quite a while. I wish it was available on Firefox, but I understand if Cal is unable to release a version for said browser for one or several reasons.

Firefox has a lack of support for a few programming related things that are quite useful and necessary for basic functionality. In any case, better availablity is better for everyone, so I will look into this as soon as I can.

Got it. These last few version releases have convinced me to install the extension for once, by which I'm optimistic that it will further improve by the time a Firefox version could be available.

Yeah, I've drifted from the days of risky experimental poorly written code (though I am dipping my toes back in to save some space in the extension size — trying to keep it light weight), and with the amount of users, most bugs are caught and fixed quite quickly and easily.

Version 0.0.44 is being released. This version features the following changes and features, as well as those quoted above.
    • When drawing lines in the editor, the line will appear red if it does not meet the minimum length requirement to be drawn
    • Fixed a bug causing the "Copy Username" option in user context menus to stop working
    • Fixed a bug causing the grid to remain visible after leaving the editor
    • Fixed a bug causing the editor not to load when opening the editor after playing a track
    • Fixed a bug allowing users to report the same user more than once
    • You can no longer report a user or race that has already been reported
    • Added a context menu to the profile area in the left hand navigation with a couple of added options
    • Rearranged items in the advanced section of the extension popup options for better readability

The Firefox exension is underdeveloped and I don't believe it's even functional. I haven't a clue how it passed the review, but I have not yet tested nor made it compatible with Firefox. If you have the option to install the extension from the chrome webstore, that one should work (maybe). In any case, it's mainly built for and around chrome. I do have plans to increase compatibility across uncommon browsers, but I currently do not have the time to do that.
