What an exciting update! A new challenger, Cerasium has joined the contest! Although he has said he has retired from ghosting, he is back from the dead to compete! He will be ghosting on Theft. I have managed to hold on to first, although the time has been pushed down by a whole second since the last update. Only 3 players have achieved sub 19. Anything can happen! Good luck everyone! Only 8 hours and 15 minutes left in the round! Shoutout to spruce, Bellboys, and FoxGamingTM for the sick improvements.

Alright everyone round one is over! And what a finish!! Cerasium and I traded first a couple times over the past few days, but Cerasium ended up scraping the win by just one frame. ouch. Spreadsheet has been updated.

Alright! Round one was a success! First, let's talk about the track. It's on the shorter side, with mixed offroad and climbs throughout the track. However, there were several complaints about the track being not fit for a ghosting contest. Too janky, too short, too technical, too annoying to ghost, etc. And I get the complaints, but overall I think the track wasn't too bad. Sure it was a little annoying to ghost, but it looks nice overall and I think, and people made do with it. However, there were more exciting things going on other than the track. This round was very heated and had a very tight leaderboard, only spanning about 2 seconds. Quite a brutal round. The round started off well enough for people like me, spruce, and Uniior getting in the low 20's, high 19's. However, the times were continually pushed down until they reached low 18's by the end of the round! Even some legendary non spacebarrers like TPlacella and WrzodX were able to push their times under 25 seconds! (Yes TPlacella I called you a legendary player, don't let your head get too big, I still stole the 2012 feat before you ) Unexpectedly, in the middle of the round, Ghosting Legend Cerasium made a comeback for the contest and actually managed to grab first! Quite an impressive performance from him. First place was traded from me to spruce to Cerasium to me and finally back to Cerasium again. Quite an intense round to say the least. In the last 15 minutes of the round, I managed to improve my time to an 18.27, just one frame behind Cerasium ! I even messaged Cerasium and said I couldn't improve in the last 10 minutes or so, and he said he'd done something similar back in ORG, so I gave it my all for the last 10 minutes and successfully threw an 18.10 run, as well as acquiring a fist-shaped hole in my wall. Either way great effort from everyone all around! 33 players completed the track.

Nah. I made a bad track to ghost. That's kinda all it is and I accept that, sorry all. All the other tracks (from what I've seen) are easier and better to ghost, have fun with those.
