i really gotta give credit to ness and calc's dream editor; without it this track would have been finished nowhere near as quickly, so i really have to thank them for that. also thanks to sirhuman for helping draw the title

beside that, hope you enjoy my attempt at 3d lol

this track is beautiful. the perspective is perfect, fully zoomed out it looks like a professional work of art (especially given the restrictions inherent to drawing in the frhd editor). the water was risky but pulled off really, really well, the ship in the corner is stunning, and the roofing is just *chefs kiss* idk what else to say, what a huge step up in quality compared to your already huge step up in quality! your artistic talents are growing heaps

    fantastic work, really really impressed

the combination of a multi-vehicle ride and 3D-track is absolutely nailed here.

the truck riding the ripples of the waves is so creative and expertly pulled off. it feels like a mini remote controlled vehicle on the water, riding around in the 3D waves around boats and off the strips of lumber. the sensation is new and so well done, a perfect combination of new idea and great execution. then again the truck on the rooftops, through teleports reminiscent of mashed peas, feels great too.

blob-riding through the brickwork, on ledges, off spires, under arches, all feel incredibly cool, satisfying an itch I've had since the blob ride in Ready Steady Numb. exploring the architecture with the blob is fun and fast, but also impressively consistent, a hard feat done expertly.

and that last balloon ride to the star above the cross slows down the fast pace in a way that feels triumphant. multi-vehicle tracks are hard to make, and for you to make such a creative, strong ride that matches the theme so compellingly, you deserve high praise.

I won't be able to articulate the love I have for the detail and theme as well as I can for the ride, and hopefully someone with that vocab can chime in. but there's so much to highlight here. the water looks incredible, to essentially detail the light off the slight waves is pretty fantastic. the small boats look awesome and with great perspective. the callback to Neptune's Wave, the ship making a return in the new 3D perspective, was a beautiful touch.

the buildings have amazing perspective, the textures are phenomenal throughout as well. the wood, the brick, the windows each have their own unique character, adding so much realism to the art.

zooming out, the whole scene is awe-inspiring. zooming-in, everything has so much character. using the camera tool and spotting the small intricate details everywhere brings so much to the theme of the track, strengthening the ride that much more when you go back to play.

I'm personally blown away by how the dream machine editor might have helped. I can see bits of repeating patterns, and I can imagine how I could do that with 2D, but how it might've been done here? there's never a sense of "copy/paste", it feels as real as if every tile, every window, every small bit was done by hand.

there's more to say for sure, after playing for a few hours I'm still finding more to love. this is a big contender for track of the year, and I'm glad there are trackmakers like you still putting in the hours to create works of art like this in the game. absolutely love this track man, amazing job.
