Lol I just realized why I'm so bad at the game
My spacebar speed is about .20
Everyone else does like .07 or .10

 

Mine is .7 to .13 and i still used to be relatively bad, especially at endurance. This is the reason: first, you have to improve the game physics knowledge, and endurance, pause in necessary parts, which would maybe be about 1.00-4.00 pause times depending on the track. Then, after you master that, reduce your pausetimes.

I did the complete opposite

I just used to pause every .07-.13 and just think almost nothing. I'm trying to stop doing that, but i got used to

I'm relatively bad, so this is why pausetimes aren't the most important thing. But it makes you better if you spacebar correctly.

This obviously isn't the ghosting advice and improvement thread, but we're talking a little about that.

 

How do you check and change your spacebar speed?

 

Just take a look at the timer every time you pause, and calculate an approximate average. To change your spacebar speed, you can pause/unpause slower/faster or less often/more often.

I wouldn't be too upset about it. 0.07 is actually so tiring for me after doing it for too long. I used to do it for hours on end every day and my hands were in pain.

I was literally playing that track yesterday, have to play a bit passive but it works well, cg on taking the feat back!

Only problem with this ghost is that i actually think that could be stolen, because of the death. It's also a short one.

But nice job getting sub 20 and 1st in a fairly hard track though!

I have the same question, setsu's ghost even appeared at the best ghosts of the month, and still no update...

Edit: xenom corrected me in some parts.

 

I think it has a chance, because the one death doesn't really take anything away from the ghost, except making it not flawless. Flawless in my ghost would've probably saved like a third of a second, and this is a decently difficult track, so since i also had a good ending, its a possiblity.
(also this was listed as a good suggestion last month and i was able to beat it by over a second)

 

I wouldn't feat it because the track isn't anything too remarkable difficulty-wise. Just because you can get #1 on a track doesn't mean you deserve a feat. These bare-bones brush and tube tracks are quite stale to watch.
