*Eli pulls out desperation part iii WIP update

Volund (suddenly enthused): What's that, at 4000k?

Eli: New track. What do you think?

Volund picks it up and examines the lettering carefully.

Volund: Whoa. Very nice. Take a look.

He hands it to Zwinxz.

Eli: Dropped it out to the forums yesterday.

Zwinxz: Good coloring.

Eli: That's just the bones. And the locations going to be Sydney.

Volund(envious): Sydney?

Zwinxz: It is very cool, Eli. But that's nothing.

He pulls a WIP of his computer and slaps it on the
thread.

Zwinxz : Look at this.

They all lean forward to inspect it.

Fluffy: That's really nice.

Eli clenches his fists beneath the table, trying to control his anxiety.

Zwinxz: Magnum opus 2 with Max

(Turning to Eli)

What do you think?

Eli (barely able to breathe, his voice a croak): Nice.

Fluffy (holding the card up to the light): Jesus. This is really super. How'd a nitwit like you get so tasteful?

Eli stares at his own WIP and then enviously at Zwinxz's.

Eli (V.O.): I can't believe that Zycerak prefers Zwinxs WIP to mine.

Fluffy: But wait. You ain't seen nothin' yet.

He holds up his own WIP.

Fluff: All black box track, realistic and smooth

Eli (choking with anxiety): Impressive. Very nice. Let's see Zyceraks WIP

Zycerak pulls his WIP from an inside coat pocket and holds it up for their inspection: "Zycerak, bully me, + ELI is Fat presents all we need II" Eli swallows, speechless. The sound in the room dies down and all we hear is a faint heartbeat as Eli stares at the magnificent card.

Eli (V.O.): Look at that subtle off-white coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has a watermark...

His hand shaking, Eli lifts up the WIP and stares at it
until it fills the screen. He lets it fall. The sound returns to normal.

Hey people. Been a while since I last updated on what’s going on with my track. I have been working on it in small increments but I’ve still got a lot of work before it is finished. I got a job and have been using most of my free time off of FRHD or using it to draw trees for the avatar community collab. Anyways, one of these days I’ll get a big space of time to work on it and probably finish all of what’s left in two weeks. Unfortunately I have a lot of trips planned whenever I don’t work, so a finished track soon just isn’t likely. I don’t know if anyone actually cared, but thought I’d update.
Edit: one quick question…is it ok to add “+1” at the end of your track or is that sleazy or something? Cause I see it a lot of places, but not usually on features.

 

I mean I generally wouldn’t add +1 because people generally don’t really care if it says +1 or not they will vote it how they feel. Some people also feel like it’s sort of begging.

 

always add +1 because then people remember to like and subscribe its a very good business tactic
