Probably. It needs to be fixed. There’s people missing as well. I was gone when whisk was at his best. A list I make can’t be completely accurate because of my break and also because of my subjectivity.
This is an interesting idea, but I think it would be like the current in-game rider leaderboard - the longer you play, the more points you get and you can grind garbage for the same amount of points to get to the top. For your leaderboard: if you aren't very active but you get first all the time, you still might fall behind simply because someone else grinds out a ton of 1st's on easy tracks that have hardly any plays. This can be partially fixed by only taking into consideration tracks with more than X number of plays (750 sounds alright to me idk), but that still leaves the problem of weighing track difficulty which is arguably just as important as the number of 1st's. I don't think there is any 100% data based, objective method for measuring who the best ghoster is in the game, but the current methods of averaging together the subjective opinions of some of the most experienced, top players gets more than close enough. Somewhat related: take a jar full of an unknown number of beads and average together 100 guesses from random people. It will be off by a very small amount. Similar idea here but with way less "guesses" (each opinion for the list) which doesn't matter nearly as much because they aren't random guesses. I'm sure it would be difficult to maintain an "all time" leaderboard because all long-gone players' skill need to be remembered, but I think it's more important to keep the yearly leaderboards like is currently being done. It is interesting to have an all time ranking, but I think it is far more relevant to everyone to know there place within each year. Too far back and the rankings become somewhat meaningless because standards can be drastically different from year to year and the difficulty to remain accurate gets harder due to it being memory-based.
Although I did quit awhile ago so maybe you got a lot better recently, was fun competing with you in past times
