Man how do you draw? Mouse, Drawing pad, or just a touchpad? I mean, this is goated! how do you come up with original ideas?!
Ok I see how it is. I post something actually meaningful and y’all ignore it but then someone posts something just saying good job in a dorky way and they get maple and others to like it? Lol the system is rigged
Ty! I've just been lazy. I use both mouse and drawing pad, alternate between the two depending on the task. A lot of my ideas initially stemmed from the name. I was playing PoE at the time and there's a place in-game called Primordial Blocks: In MTG there are cards known as Fetchlands. Primordial Blocks + Fetchlands = Primordial Sketchlands The style of drawing follows loosely w/ ligne claire(think tintin, moebius, etc.). The track goes back and forth w/ 2D and 3D, most of the rideable parts are 2D b/c I liked the idea of a platformer. Lot of the designs were inspired by the idea of protractors, drawing compasses, human anatomy and stuff ,cosmic horror(maybe not so much horror though), the last guardian, ornate railing, moebius, PoE, shadow of colossus.
Also...I could stare at psketchlands for hours. It is literally a masterpiece. Also, are there any other "Easter eggs" other than the Dragon after the portal and the Tree thing that says 201? - 2021? Also do you know when you started working on this insanely huge project?
I'm surprised you found the tree bit, didn't think people would look beyond the rideable parts. It was supposed to be a whole new area of the track after the rounded white portal, I just stopped b/c the k size was getting too big for me. Also I don't know when the project started(201?)
I just zoomed out looking for the dragon bit and stumbeled upon it but I think it looks cool. Also, i was just wondering if you had an idea of when, like 2016-2018 or something like that for when you started. Sorry if im bothering you
Don't know for sure, I checked when the Primordial Blocks area was introduced in PoE(2018) so probs around then. But 2021(spring-fall) was when I really picked up the pace and obsessively worked on it to the point I fell ill for a week the day after I uploaded psketchlands
