Well, lockdown meant everyone, and quarantine means a specific type of lockdown (a lockdown for a specific household or person. hoever, lockdown means a group most comonly), so lockdown is a quarantine, but not all quarantines are lockdowns. Commonly confused words. I am assuming this is what max means, however, some places may start going into lockdown with the new variant in Africa.
