Free Fall is one of the best I've seen from Clorox; very cool glitch at the beginning, with some new things like a front wheel bounce and recycling the straight line for the wheelie. Although there are some rocky landings in the Free Fall, the good parts in the auto cover for those areas, and the rocky parts are not very noticeable unless you focus exactly on that part. Elysian 2 is an awesome auto, consistently demonstrating smoother wheelies and a nice squish. However, the auto lacks length, even though it is a very good 8.6 seconds. This was a tough choice; both autos are extremely fun, but Free Fall wins this round for me. Also, isekeb, would it be better to give more time for people to judge the tracks? In my opinion, one day won't really give a lot of people time to vote or see the tournaments. Perhaps a little more time would be better.
I might extend this one to 2 days as an experiment, but I'm afraid the thread would be forgotten about, and if every matchup was twice as long, the tournament would take even longer. thanks for the idea though
2nd Matchup - Results although it was relatively close between the two, Elysian 2 - weem ended up winning with 5 votes. since extending this one to 2(.5) days didn't succeed, matchups will remain a day long. 3rd Matchup Unity - WheelieMaker vs Azúcar - WheelieMaker
hard choice, but I'll have to go with Unity, mostly for the recycling of that one curve that was done flawlessly. Granted Azúcar has a thrice recycled line in it, but the landings on that weren't quite as smooth as with the other. Aside from that I would have gone with Azúcar as it flows much more freely than Unity, and also doesn't use teleports to get out of impossible situations. Unity has an impressive number of spins at the start, but as weem mentioned in the description of that track it was done using antigravity, which does tend to make it much easier than with normal gravity.
forums suck so I couldn't delete the poll (or previous voting options), so just click "change your vote"
Although both autos are phenomenal, I think Unity wins this one, since the glitches and the recycling are more "violent" than Azucar, and the 8 spins at the start were very cool. Using teleports didn't really degrade the auto too much, since the rest of the auto is just so good. Azucar has a very nice recycle at the beginning, but the rest of the auto is not as special as Unity's was. The glitches and spins were not exceptionally good, and there weren't many parts about the auto that really stood out.
i agree with everyone else, unity wins this one for me. both autos are simply incredible but unity has that amazing spin, ingenuitive and spectacular recycling moments and next-level glitches. i definitely admire the great recycle at the beginning of azucar, but the track ends dully. unity is fascinating and legendary throughout.
3rd Matchup - Results Unity - WheelieMaker won with 5 votes. 4th Matchup Glacé - WheelieMaker vs Accelerate, Brake, Lean Back by tetrationiscool
I'm sorry weem, glacé is a truly incredible auto, with superb handling, fluidity, glitches, and overall balance of tricks; but when it comes to auto-making tic is on a whole other level, this track is definitely no exception.
Still an amazing auto by weem, with nice glitches and tubes and great use of the antigravity, but tetration's auto is just so insanely creative and smooth. Though a close one, tetration's auto wins it for me.
