OA so easy?

Same thing like Calculus said, I'm pretty sure it was similar to how it was back in late 2017, when I started.
Even though it took me until 2020 to get OA, I believe, but it was mostly because I didn't ask for it.
So while I agree more or less with what you say, it has been like this for a while.

 

I don't think that it should be based on a strict thing, like 500 subs, or 4000 likes, or whatever, just because I (fuzzyman8) don't get much popularity, so I don't have many likes, and I only have, like, 17 subs I think. But I think I deserve it and will be releasing a detailed track soon, so then I will ask for OA. But even still, I would be a long shot away from 500 subs.

OA is kinda eazy. I've seen people with OA who make tracks with unpleasant gameplay and no detail. In my opinion if you don't detail, it doesn't matter. But if you just scribble all the time and spam uploads, then you probably don't deserve OA.

 

I don't think that much. I mean, you could have potential from the start and have to grind for years to get that many subs. Maybe that could be something in between OA and EA?

 

T12 and other mod's are just saying yea sure to anybody that wants it. You could probably make a new acc, make an ok track and ask for OA, it is spoiling it for everyone that deserves OA

 

maybe not 500, what if they aren't noticed, the mods should just check how good their tracks are and if they have either tonnes of subs and likes or their tracks are great, then they should get OA. official author was supposed to make people stand out, maybe they just are doing it so people don't feel left out?... I remember asking RangerX to get OA and it took a while, about a week or two after that, I got it and everyone else started getting it...

 

I agree 100 and a good amount of hot/trending tracks should do it

I hate to say this but yes there is something like that. One example is my friend ProMasterGod he makes some OK levels, but the gameplay is very sporadic and simple even by my standards (I'm an abstract creator but I'm working on detail/decorating skills)
there's even this one guy who had somewhere between 3-5 subscribers and made I think 10 tracks? That person got OA
We should tell someone about it like Eryp or T12 about it that we should set a requirement for OA
like youtube (where you must reach 100K subscribers to be verified)

 

don't tell me we can ask for EA
In my honest opinion we have to do a lot so EA is worth it
it's not like some noob will come along and get OA or EA

Who cares. They just want people to feel special so they will post more tracks and keep engagement high. Just think about how much more someone will want to keep posting if they get OA. If you think it’s more than that you are........
