Hey guys, what's up? We had another crazy round with the Quarterfinals. Let's talk about it.

First of all, thanks to Elibloodthirst for the track. As I said before, I know it wasn't perfect, but props to him for helping out with the tracks on a relatively short notice, since we lost some trackmakers. I still think the track had some cool ideas and obstacles, just lacked a bit of flow and consistency. Also, just like the last track, it had some shortcuts, so that could be considered a problem as well. We still managed to have some dope races on it, though, so I feel like that shouldn't be the main focus of the post.

    WINNERS CHAMPIONSHIP:

On the first match, we had kinda controversial great new ghoster Cerulean/Sharkfin facing the FRHD Ghoster of 2020, Free Rider legend RedOrBlue, and it went crazy as expected. But, the people thought otherwise, with an insane 29-0 favoring RedOrBlue on the poll. But a match with 2 of the the most active great ghosters at the moment should be really close, and it was. RedOrBlue lead most of the time, having the 1st place on the track for most of the round, but Cerulean came in strong at the end. Using a tactic widely used by Backtwice on previous contests and that Giampitek and DrChill used on the previous round of this contest, Cerulean had no ghost at all for the most part of the round but ended up ghosting on the last minute with a lethal ghost that took RedOrBlue from the winner side of the contest. Cerulean got a 36.73, 2nd place on the round, that was enough to beat RedOrBlues 37.07 time, 3rd place on the round. A solid 0.34 second win from Cerulean. RedOrBlue wasn't online on the game when the end of the round happened, so Cerulean's tactic worked well this time. On the Semifinals, Cerulean, after beating 2 Legendary Ghoster medal winners in a row, will have to face Backtwice, that is the one representing Finland this time. On the Losers Championship, is time for RedOrBlue to face RadiumRC on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals.

On the second match, we had DrChill vs Backtwice, and the same thing happened, lol. Backtwice was the favorite to win by 20-4 according to the poll, but he didn't have a ghost until the last minutes of the round (apparently he forgot, lol), so it kept DrChill hopes up until the end. Sadly, DrChill suffered exactly what he did to Stevie.T and lost the match on the last minutes. Backtwice, just like he used to do on the Free Rider World Cup 2, took another last minute win and kept the Finnish Dynasty hopes up. DrChill got a 39.27 time, 10th place on the round and Backtwice got a 37.80 time, 6th place on the round. Now Backtwice will have the tough challenge to face Cerulean, that already sent Madara and RedOrBlue for the Losers Championship. Will he be able to beat him? As for DrChill, he'll face Apocolypse on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals.

On the third match we had a great one with a big upset in the end as well. It was one of the most interesting matches: spruce vs Chaos-Fallen. Two beasts on the game, that are killing it on the last few months had to face each other and the results were great. The people were expecting spruce to win, with a 21-7 poll favoring him, and that almost happened. Spruce lead most of the time on the round and got a great 37.77 time that was 2nd place on the track for a while, but Chaos-Fallen made a legendary ghost on the last day and took the W. Really impressive! spruce's final time was still the 37.77, 5th place on the round, while Chaos-Fallen got an epic 33.30, 1st place on the round BY FAR. Impressive job by Chaos-Fallen! Chaos-Fallen is advancing to the Semifinals to face mudkip, while spruce will face me again on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals, on a rematch from the Group Stage match on his track.

On the fourth and last match of the Winners Championship Quarterfinals, we had Giampitek vs mudkip. Even after an awesome win against Zycerak, people still weren't thinking that Giampitek could beat mudkip, since the poll was 23-4 for mudkip. This time, they were right, and Giampitek couldn't pull the same trick against mudkip, that did great on the round. This was the most "chill" round, with mudkip leading through pretty much the whole round on the match. At the end, Giampitek finished with a good 39.33, 11th place on the round, that wasn't enough to beat mudkip's 38.00 time, 7th place on the round. Mudkip will have the tough challenge to beat Chaos-Fallen on the Semifinals, while Giampitek will be facing Uniior on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals

    LOSERS CHAMPIONSHIP:

On the first match of second round of the Losers Championship, we had a big surprise on the RadiumRC vs Madara match. The poll was 19-4 for Madara, but he ended up not winning the match. I heard from Madara that he was busy on this last day of the round and couldn't ghost, so he should have improved earlier, but he forgot, lol. This doesn't take the credit from RadiumRC at all, that did a great ghost, a good 39.53, 12th place on the round, that was enough to beat Madara's 42.50 time, 13th place on the round. RadiumRC will have another tough challenge, facing RedOrBlue on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals, while Madara is sadly leaving the contest already. 1st place on the GBC1, 2nd place on the GBC2 and 3rd place on the last edition of the Free Rider World Cup, Madara will be leaving without trophies this time, but best of luck on the next contest you participate. For a guy that didn't plan to participate on the contest, you did well. I hope you liked it as a ghoster, but we will still have your involvement on the team decisions and on your collaboration on a future track for the contest.

On the second match, we had an interesting one: Apocolypse vs Symantec. With a 16-6 poll favoring Symantec, the match was interesting, but not exactly for the ghosts. They weren't bad, but this was interesting because until like half of the round, none of them had a ghost on the track, lol. I thought it might be a case of disqualification but then Symantec did a ghost, so I thought he was going to in. But then, in the last day, Apocolypse showed up and ended up beating Symantec and taking the W. I know you guys didn't have that much time to ghost, so props to you guys for taking the time to complete the track at least. Apocolypse got a 56.80 time, 17th place on the round, and Symantec got a 1:06.57 time, 21st place on the round. Apocolypse is facing the great DrChill on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals, while Symantec is sadly leaving the contest. You did good, I hope you liked it and I hope you can show up on the next one.

On the third match, we had CHARREDLIZARD21 vs Stevie.T. This match was also interesting for similar reasons that the one above had. Both of them ghosted the track on the first day, but it seemed that Stevie.T wouldn't try to improve and would leave it for CHARREDLIZARD21, but he ended up improving it on the last half of the round, which made CHARREDLIZARD21 improve his ghost a bit, but not enough to beat him. Poll was 20-2 for Stevie.T, and in the end, he didn't disappoint. Stevie.T did a 38.13 time, 8th place on the round, while CHARREDLIZARD21 did a 57.27, 18th place on the round. Stevie.T will face NotVeryGood on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals, while CHARREDLIZARD21 will sadly leave the contest. You did great, I hope you enjoyed it and can come on the next one. Also, hope you continue your commentary, lol.

On the fourth match, we had a very interesting match again, mostly for the same reasons as the 2 immediately above. It was Cynic vs NotVeryGood, and the poll was 19-2 for NotVeryGood. Still, it was Cynic that took the lead first, after a while of both not ghosting the track. Cynic had multiple long mobile ghosts that he kept improving, until he got a non-mobile 46.20 time. It was a decent ghost, and since NotVeryGood didn't have a ghost on the last day at all, it seemed that Cynic was going to win. Wrong. NotVeryGood showed up on the last day and got a great 43.70 time, 15th place on the round overall, that was enough to beat Cynic's 46.20 time, 16th place on the round overall. NotVeryGood will have a tough battle against Stevie.T on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals, while Cynic is sadly leaving the contest. Man, thanks for joining the contest, completing every track and doing a good performance overall. I hope you enjoyed it and can join future editions of the contest.

On the fifth match we had me against Coated_Badger. The poll was 18-5 for me and I took the W. Coated_Badger didn't seem eager to improve his 4:41.60 ghost, 22nd place on the round, so I felt like the 43.67 I did on the first day would be enough, and it was. It ended up being the 14th place time on the round. I'll have my rematch against spruce (I don't expect to win, though) on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals (good luck spruce!), while Coated_Badger is sadly leaving the contest. Thanks for joining, man. Thanks for accepting the challenge of replacing someone on the Group Stage and then congrats for making this far on the contest. Nicely done. I hope you liked the contest and can join another edition of this in the future.

On the sixth match, we had an easy one. It was Wolf777 vs Uniior. Poll was 18-3 for Uniior and he didn't disappoint. He did a great 39.23, 9th place on the round, while Wolf777 didn't ghost. So he took an easy W. Uniior will have an interesting match against Giampitek on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals, while Wolf777, saved from the elimination on the last round, is now leaving the contest for real. Thanks for joining, man. I hope you enjoyed the ride and that you come back on future editions.

On the seventh match, it was supposed to be a great rematch, the best match of this round on the Losers Championship, but it was an easy one. It was the 2nd best combined time on the Group Stage against the 4th, but they were on different vibes this time and I get it. It was BoostButt vs Zycerak. BoostButt had already take the L on the Group Stage and seems determined to fight for the 3rd place, while Zycerak lost the motivation to ghost on the competition after that tough last minute loss for Giampitek. Poll favored BoostButt on the Group Stage and Zycerak took the W in a big way. This time, the poll was a tough 12-10 favoring BoostButt, and he didn't disappoint. With a great 37.70, 4th place on the round, BoostButt showed that he is one of the biggest candidates to take the 3rd place trophy when it's time, but there's still a long road to go. Zycerak didn't ghost the track. BoostButt will be facing Pie42 on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals, while Zycerak will be sadly leaving the contest. Just as I said for Madara, for someone that decided last minute to compete on the contest, you did great. Epic performance on the Group Stage, and a great contest overall. Hope to see you on a future contest and I hope you were able to enjoy this one.

On the eighth and last match, we had a great one: Kanvo vs Pie42. It was 12-9 for Pie42 on the poll, and the match was really interesting. First, the took a bit to make ghosts, with Pie42 being the one starting it. His ghost wasn't that good, something around 1:30 if I'm not mistaken, but since Kanvo didn't have a ghost, it should be enough. Then in the last day Kanvo decided to ghost and then he beat Pie42. He ended up improving his ghost and finishing with a 1:01.27 time, 20th place on the round, but in the last day Pie42 decided to improve his time as well and beat Kanvo back with a 57.70, 19th place on the round. Kanvo seemed to try to beat him back again, but couldn't do it in time. Win for Pie42, that will now face BoostButt on the Losers Championship Quarterfinals. Kanvo is sadly leaving the contest now. I hope you liked it, man. Thanks for joining, and maybe we'll see you on the next one.

PS: Sorry for the mess with the name of the tracks earlier. This new round is the Semifinals round (where we will have both the Winners Championship Semifinals and the Losers Championship Quarterfinals), it'll be 3 days long, and all of the players still on the contest should ghost the new track, following the matches I posted before. Ignore the name and just try to enjoy the track that was made by Exylies, with some additional help from Eryp and I.

    PS2: New poll soon.
