2nd and 4th best combined times on the Group Stage facing each other on the Losers Championship 2 rounds later, lol. Very unlikely. This 3rd place will be tough to get for everyone.

    Hey, guys. What's up?

We had a crazy Round of 16, so let's talk about it.

First of all, let's talk about the track. A great offroad track with very nice detailing. A good ride, not that long, not that short. A very balanced track. Props to SCrane & Apocolypse, that presented us a great track.

WINNERS CHAMPIONSHIP - Round of 16

In the first match, we had 1st place from the Group 1 Cerulean/Sharkfin against 2nd place from the Group 2 Madara. A new great ghoster against one of the most experienced ghosters on ghosting contests, a really solid battle. The poll was somewhat balanced, showing a 13-9 in favor of Madara. Madara initially took the lead, but Cerulean beat him and everyone else with an impressive 1st place on the round with a 48.90 time, that was enough to beat Madara's 51.10, 7th time on the round. This is the fall of Madara, that will now fight for the 3rd place like last year racing on the Losers Championship. Cerulean is facing the legend RedOrBlue on the Quarterfinals and Madara is facing RadiumRC on the second round of the Losers Championship.

In the second match, we had exactly what was expected by the poll. RedOrBlue (1st place from group 3) had the poll 22-2 on his favor against Symantec (2nd placefrom group 4) and again he didn't disappoint. With an insane 49.67 made with the BMX (maybe the only one that used that bike, lol), RedOrBlue got the 2nd best time on the round and easily took the W. In the other side, Symantec did disappoint a bit being the only player from the Winners Championship to not ghost the track, but he'll still have one more chance, ghosting on the Losers Championship second round against Apocolypse.

In the third match, we had the best match of the round and one of the best moments of the contest so far in my opinion. It was the time of the first place of the group 5 DrChill face the second place of the legendary group 6, Stevie.T. Although DrChill got 9 points in the group stage and Stevie.T only 6, Stevie.T had the 3rd best combined time from the group stage and DrChill had the 8th, so it wasn't a easy match for DrChill (or Stevie.T). But one of the things that made this result more special was the poll. Stevie.T was killing it in the contest and he is a more experienced ghoster in general than DrChill (with 2 third places on big contests and more featured ghosts), so he was the clear favorite to win. At least that was what most people thought. The poll was a brutal 21-0 favoring Stevie.T. 21-0. Crazy stuff. Not a single vote for DrChill despite his insane job so far on the contest. But he didn't took that on consideration and did his job perfectly. Stevie.T quickly did an amazing 50.37 ghost, that was 5th place on the track for quite a bit. DrChill had a ghost a bit far from that but kept improving. I remember that in the 2nd day I announced that DrChill had gotten close, with a 50.93 ghost. Still, I wasn't sure of how much DrChill would still improve his ghost or if Stevie.T was going to improve again. On the last day, DrChill beat Stevie.T by 0.07 second and took a legendary W, one of the greatest wins and upsets from all the ghosting contests I've seen so far. I'm super impressed. DrChill got 5th place on the round with the 50.30 time and Stevie.T got the 6th place on the round with the 50.37 time. Honestly, maybe both players deserved to advance, but that's not how this format works, so Stevie.T is going to the Losers Championship to fight for another 3rd place on a contest. DrChill will have the tough task to face Backtwice on the next round, while Stevie.T will face CHARREDLIZARD21/DeezNutsForPrez on the second round of the Losers Championship.

In the fourth match we had a more chill one. It was Backtwice (1st place from group 7) against NotVeryGood (2nd place from group 8). The poll was 20-1 for Backtwice and he confirmed his favoritism since earlier on the round. He quickly made a great 49.87 ghost, that was the 3rd place on the round and took the win against NotVeryGood, that got a 1:00.73 time, 19th place on the round. Backtwice is keeping the Finnish Dynasty flame alive and will have a tough challenge facing DrChill on the Quarterfinals. DrChill just beat Stevie.T, can he do the same with Backtwice? As for NotVeryGood, he'll be facing Cynic on the second round of the Losers Championship.

In the fifth match we had another more chill one. The legend Coated_Badger (2nd place from group 1) didn't want to use his full power (kinda like ZPresley last year, smh) against spruce/dumptruck (1st place from group 2), so spruce had an easy win. The poll was 18-6 for spruce, and he took the W. He made a 52.00 time, 9th on the round, that was enough to beat Coated_Badger's 1:02.17 time, the 20th place on the round. Spruce will have a tough challenge against Chaos-Fallen on the Quarterfinals, while Coated_Badger will be facing me on the second round of the Losers Championship. Good luck!

In the sixth match, we had Chaos-Fallen (1st place on group 4) vs Uniior (2nd place on group 3). The poll was 18-1 for Chaos-Fallen and Chaos went and did as expected. With a crazy 50.10, 4th place on the round, Chaos-Fallen sent Uniior to the Losers Championship. Uniior's time was of 54.73 seconds, 14th place on the round. Chaos-Fallen will have a really tough fight against spruce in the Quarterfinals, while Uniior will face Wolf777 on the second round of the Losers Championship.

In the seventh match, it was time for another major upset. I really can't believe this. Zycerak (1st place of group 6) had the 2nd best combined time on the Group Stage (0.02 second behind RedOrBlue) and had a 19-2 favoring him on the poll, so he was the clear favorite against Giampitek (2nd place from group 5). However, the round didn't end with a victory from Zycerak. With a perfectly executed strategy that some might think it's clever and some might think it's cruel, Giampitek "played dead" with his 55-ish seconds ghost until the last minutes of the round, where he managed to get a 53.33 time, that was enough to beat Zycerak's 53.47 time. Zycerak said before that he considered improving but ended up not doing it, so yeah, that made a difference this time. But still dope job on this contest by Zycerak, same for Stevie.T. You guys are crushing it, so if you guys want to join your former group colleague BoostButt on the fight for the 3rd place, feel free to do it. Also, again, major props to Giampitek for pulling this off last minute, crazy stuff. Now Giampitek will have another really tough challenge on the Quarterfinals, where he will face mudkip, while Zycerak, if he's up for the task, will face BoostButt on a really interesing rematch, in order to keep fighting for the 3rd place. The Losers Championship is getting crazy.

In the eighth and last match from the winners side of the Round of 16, he had mudkip vs Pie42. Mudkip had the poll favoring him by 18-4 and didn't disappoint. He made a solid 51.43 time, 8th place on the round, that was more than enough to beat Pie42's 1:04.83 time, 22nd place on the round. Mudkip will now have a tough fight against one of the great surprises of this contest, Giampitek, on the Quarterfinals, while Pie42 will face Kanvo on the second round of the Losers Championship.

    LOSERS CHAMPIONSHIP - First Round

On the first match on this first round of the Losers Championship, we had RadiumRC against weem/WheelieMaker. Weem didn't ghost so RadiumRC took an easy W with a really great ghost. He got a 53.23 time, 11th place on the round. The poll was 17-2 for him, so it went as expected. We say our goodbye to weem on this contest, hope to see you in the next one. RadiumRC will be facing Madara on the second round of the Losers Championship.

On the second match, both Apocolypse and HafiSyah ghosted the track, so respect to both for the efforts. The poll was 16-3 for Apocolypse and he took an easy win. He got a 57.40 time, 16th place on the round, while HafiSyah got a 2:07.67 time, 25th place on the round. Apocolypse will be facing Symantec on the second round of the Losers Championship, while HafiSyah is leaving the contest now. Thanks for your efforts, I hope you liked it and might show up on the next one.

On the third match, it was time for CHARREDLIZARD21/DeezNutsForPrez to face Xenom (that recently changed his name from scoutrules, during the contest), and it was also an easy match for CHARREDLIZARD21, since Xenom didn't ghost. It was 14-1 for CHARREDLIZARD21 in the poll, so it went as expected. CHARREDLIZARD21 got a 1:05.13 time, 23rd on the round. CHARREDLIZARD21 is facing Stevie.T in the second round of the Losers Championship and Xenom is sadly leaving the contest. Hope you liked it, and hope to see you again in the next one.

On the fourth match, it was time to Cynic face Unadvertised. The poll was 16-0 for Cynic and it was that easy for him. For the 4th track in a row, Unadvertised didn't ghost the track, so Cynic's 1:00.57 time, 18th place on the round, was more than enough to beat him. Cynic will now face NotVeryGood on the second round of the Losers Championship, while Unadvertised is leaving the contest. I hope you found it interesting, but for next time, I would advise you to try a little bit more to ghost the tracks (if you didn't), since we had like 70 players that signed up for it, and many of them didn't got the opportunity to try to ghost the Group Stage + Round of 16 tracks. But things happen, so maybe you can come stronger in the next one.

On the fifth match, we had the best match of the Losers Championship so far, quite frankly. This was one of the 3 Losers Championship matches where both players on the match ghosted the track, and the only one that had some real competition, with 2 sub 1-minute ghosts, close calls, relevant improvements and stuff. It was me against Wolf777. The poll was 19-0 in my favor, but it wasn't that easy. My first ghost was around 1:08, that wasn't enough to beat Wolf777's 1:01 ghost at the time, then I improved it to a 58.43 and thought it would be good enough and relaxed a bit. By my surprise, around 24 hours before the ending of the round Wolf777 had a 58.50 ghost that caught me off guard and I had to improve my ghost, since the risk to something like what happened to Stevie.T and Zycerak happen to me was real. It wasn't my best run, but I did improve my ghost to a 56.27 time and checked Wolf777's time really close to the end and saw that it would probably be good enough. However, since there was a match (I'll talk about it in the next paragraph) where both players got disqualified, we decided to chose the player with the best time among the losers of this round on the Losers Championship to fill that spot on the next round, and this player ended up being Wolf777. So, to keep it short, I got a 56.27 time, 15th place on the round and will face Coated_Badger in the second round of the Losers Championship, while Wolf777 will be replacing the winner from adversitas vs Kazman, and facing Uniior on the second round of the Losers Championship.

As said before, the sixth match of the Losers Championship was a bit disappointing. It was supposed to be the best match of this first round: adversitas vs Kazman. Sadly, both of them didn't ghost the track, so they are both leaving the contest and the spot on the next round reserved to the winner of this match was filled by Wolf777. I know both of you guys were already kinda dropping out and maybe didn't have as much time to play this, so it's ok. Thanks to you both for joining in the first place, and hope to see you guys on the next one. PS: The poll was 13-4 for adversitas on this.

On the seventh match, we had another easy one. Favorite to go far among the ghosters on the first round of the Losers Championship, BoostButt faced awesomeman82, that didn't ghost the track. The poll was 17-0 for BoostButt, and he did what was expected. With a great time of 52.00 seconds (9th best time on the round), BoostButt is advancing to the second round of the Losers Championship where he will have an unexpected early rematch against Zycerak. Zycerak prevailed on the first time, but let's see if he keeps his motivation up to fight on this possibly epic match. Awesomeman82 is sadly leaving the contest. Thanks for joining, hope you enjoyed the ride, and we may see you on a future new one.

On the eighth and last match of the Losers Championship, we had Kanvo and YourAverageIndian. Major respect to both for completing the track, even if it was in the last day. The poll had it 13-2 for Kanvo and he confirmed his favoritism. He got a 1:03.67 time, 21st best time on the round, that was enough to beat YourAverageIndian's 2:00.70 time, the 24th best time on the round. Kanvo is facing Pie42 in the second round of the Losers Championship, while YourAverageIndian is sadly leaving the contest. Thanks for joining and accepting the challenge as a replacement in the Group Stage, I hope you enjoyed the contest, and hope to see you in the next one.

    PS: Updating the poll soon.
