I see your comments about the lists, and I think it's cool to people discuss the rankings. It's kinda the point of making a thread like this. If we didn't want any feedback we could just lock the thread for new comments and that's it. So it's cool that you are commenting that. I think it's cool that you are trying to remind us of some ghosters and some lists to make, but just know that we aren't forgetting most of this stuff, we just considered and didn't think it was worthy mentioning or those are things that will come in future updates. Offroad, climb and non-spacebarrer lists are probably coming eventually (and maybe some others). So relax, we will discuss a lot about ghosters in those categories. As for the changes in the lists itself, I think the only one we plan to do some big changes is the main one, eventually. You guys pointed out some ghosters we definitely missed, and maybe some ghosters could be moved up or down a bit, we'll think about that. As for the Tubers list, I understand that since you are a great tube ghoster you have some experience, but we also did a good research. I feel like when the skill level is similar, you have to consider things like the impact of the ghoster on those type of tracks over the years, the amount of times you see him on the leaderboards, the features the ghoster got in that category and stuff like this. For example, for me Ultraviolet is a bit ahead of the others on the top 5 (His 4 features on mostly tube tracks are great examples of this), but mudkip, Slayed, Arroww and Unknown-Rider have a very similar skill level. I feel like mudkip and Slayed are tube legends for years and always had many great tube ghosts in the community over their time on the game, so that might have being an advantage for them. I think I put Unknown-Rider a bit higher on my personal list due to his great technique, but although he's insanely good, he might not have being at that level for as much time and those mentioned before. Similar to Arroww, that was always good on his other accounts, but reached a really great tube ghosting level "recently". The 4th and 5th position were a hard call and it was decided in the details of some of the votes from the team, but I don't think they are unfair. Also, yeah, I feel like you and Xverse have a great chance of being in the next update of the main list and tube ghosters list, but just remembering that those are all-time lists, so every aspect of your ghosting contribution to the game is taken in consideration in some level, although skill is criteria number one for sure. Still, not mad with your comments, it's cool we have 11 pages of replies already here. Let's keep the conversation going (same for the Ghosting Awards/Community Polls thread).
Fair enough. I think he has the skill to fight for 1st/2nd place, but I feel like his placement was not unfair considering all aspects. But it makes sense to think otherwise, it's not that clear of a difference between the top 5 on the list in my opinion. Similar case for Rippedmagnet in the pilots list for me. He has potential to fight for a place in the top 3, nut he just need to be consistent for a longer time. Possibly, but top 100 would be too much, haha. We will probably stick to a top 10 for lists that aren't the main one. If we end up doing this one differently, we will announce it as well, though.
I think rorb deserves a spot on the top climb ghosters, specifically because of ghosts like this one: https://www.freeriderhd.com/t/756544-wild/r/redorblue
Why are you so mean to everyone? You're not good enough at ghosting to make fun of everyone, and you're definitely not respected in the community enough to make fun of everyone. Just... stop.
Totoca12 I feel that some of them may be a bit out dated. For example, Xverse should be up there at the least. And I am not saying I should be up there but the list could use some changes. and also I beat Kazman's and Wolf's ghosts quite a bit
