Race Commentary​

Hello and we are now in Round 6 of the Ghosting Battle contest 2. Now this track was made by TeamPhantom, one of the creators of the amazing Oblivion 2 track. This one was a slightly longer one and here is a recap of the top 10. Also I’d like to note one of the competitors has since beaten their best time after the round ended so it’s not perfect.


Off we go and Madara takes an early lead and is closely followed by DrChill who has a slight second. Into the first checkpoint and RedOrBlue has a good lead and is followed by Madara and DrChill, could this be a good round for DC? In the landing for the second jump and RedOrBlue and Madara are tying while DrChill follows closely behind. These guys have broken away early and ethan-enhe (who fixed up his ghost afterward) tries to bridge it in 4th. Into the first star and Madara is in the lead, closely followed by RedOrBlue and DrChill doing really well in 3rd while Stevie.T and Chaos-Fallen battle for 4th. Into the hole in the ground and Madara lands in it perfectly while RedOrBlue misses and loses a lot of spots. Madara has got a big lead now and DrChill looks comfortable in 2nd. Into the third checkpoint (I hope) and Madara has a considerable lead and DrChill doing really well in 2nd, while Chaos-Fallen is in third with Precalculus who started the contest really well is in 4th. At the same checkpoint RedOrBlue is tied 5th with Stevie.T after that earlier mistake. Into the bomb jump (or something like that) Madara now has a massive lead while Chaos-Fallen moves toward DrChill. DrChill decides to brake on the roof, which costs him a lot of time and a few places as well, leaving the door open for Chaos-Fallen to move into 2nd, but not for long as RedOrBlue lands insanely well and overtakes shortly after. At the top of the hill Madara is cruising in the lead. While Ultraviolet overtakes DrChill and moves into 4th, at the bottom of the hill a battle for third emerges with Chaos-Fallen, DrChill and Ultraviolet all neck and neck while RedOrBlue looks to close the gap to Madara who is streaking ahead. Madara into the second star in under 22 seconds and to portray the gap better, RedOrBlue gets there just over a second later. Chaos-Fallen is also in third and has closed a gap slightly to RedOrBlue. DrChill is also in 4th ahead of Ultraviolet in 5th. After the up gravity DrChill catches up to Chaos-Fallen and subsequently overtakes. OdysseusSupreme is far behind the pack and isn’t even at the star while Madara is already on the down gravity (not dissing OdysseusSupreme, I am even further behind). At the down gravity, DrChill has pulled a good lead on the racers behind him, while Madara is just streaks ahead, so far ahead, that I don’t feel like commentating the front anymore. Ultraviolet landed well on the gravity change and has caught up to DrChill at the start of the first hill. While Stevie.T catches up to Chaos-Fallen. Although Stevie.T jumps way too high and moves down to 8th. DrChill makes a small mistake letting Chaos-Fallen overtake. Precalculus also makes a mistake and Stevie.T makes back some time overtaking him and DrChill as well. Ultraviolet also somehow gets into 3rd because I wasn’t paying attention. Madara Turns around after the next jump a bit too late letting RedOrBlue catch some time who has also got a massive lead over third. RedOrBlue has closed the gap down massively into the mound climb and it might be a close finish, while Ultraviolet and Chaos-Fallen land the jump before it together. DrChill makes another mistake and this is the most costly of them all as its right at the end and moves him down to 7th. RedOrBlue is pushing to take the lead off Madara and these two are likely to remain top 2 for the rest of this run while Ultraviolet lands well on the mound and overtakes Chaos-Fallen, DrChill makes another costly mistake, while Totoca12’s ghost breaks on top of the mound. RedOrBlue doesn’t land the best on the upside-down step-down and Madara looks like winning only a few seconds from the final star. Ultraviolet has now got a good gap on Chaos-Fallen and Stevie.T is also far behind in 5th. Madara into the final gravity and victory is basically assured. Madara wins his third round in 49.07, while after an early mistake (which cost him the round) RedOrBlue finishes in 49.43. Ultraviolet finishes 3rd in 50.63. Chaos-Fallen only just gets his head to the star and slots into 4th in 51.17 and Stevie.T is behind in 51.43. Precalculus gets on the leaderboard again after two rounds missing in 6th with a respectable time of 51.67 and Totoca12 got 7th with 51.73 and a broken ghost. DrChill had a promising start but made a lot of minor errors towards the end costing him valuable time, in the end he got 8th and 52.17, ethan-enhe’s fixed ghost (which wasn’t his original when it finished) got a time of 55.23, while OdysseusSupreme got 58.13 rounding out the top 10.


What a wonderful round this was with some fast-paced action. Congratulations to OdysseusSupreme and ethan-enhe to making the top 10 for the first time. I’d also like to congratulate DrChill for an amazing start and RedOrBlue for making an epic comeback. This round was extended by a day due to “technical difficulties and Madara overtook RedOrBlue on the last day so… Highlight of the round was 3 ghosters beating a taser. The overall points score seems like RedOrBlue and Madara are going to win adn they have not shared the top 2 once. Ultraviolet is in third on 128, 8 points ahead of Stevie.T in 4th. Chaos-Fallen is in 5th and that looks like the top 5 for the comp. (prediction).

Round 7 Race Commentary
​

Hello and welcome to round 7 of the ghosting battle contest 2, this time the ride was made by Madara and the detail by Coated_Badger. This combination will make for a wonderful round. Here is a recap of the top 10 that I found.


The time starts and all of them are racing toward the tube and it seems pretty even, but Selesele goes back to the checkpoint in the middle of the tube. On top of the tube and it seems pretty even for the top 9, but Chaos-Fallen looks like he has just pipped the lead at the first star, but RedOrBlue gets a good exit and takes a big lead considering the shortness of the race so far. Into the next star and RedOrBlue still has the lead and Madara looks like second. RedOrBlue does a nice long flip after the third checkpoint, but so does half of the race as well. Into the bomb flip and RedOrBlue just hops it while Madara dies but quickly respawns, letting isekeb move into 2nd place, RedOrBlue has a big lead into the bomb hop and a group of about 5 follows. Madara seems to have regained second and Totoca12 has moved into third, while isekeb drops back to 6th behind Chaos-Fallen and Slayed. RedOrBlue has still got his lead into the 3rd star, while Madara looks like he’s pulled a gap on 3-6th. Slayed gets third, while Chaos-Fallen makes a small mistake in the landing. Top 6 are now into the fast-paced jump section of the track and some gaps seem to be appearing, between them. RedOrBlue finishes the jumps while Slayed and Madara have pulled away from the pack behind them, but the hardest part isn’t over yet. RedOrBlue completes the next obstacle really well and makes him land perfectly into the drops, the win looks plausible, but mistakes are still possible. Madara does the obstacle fine, but Slayed dies, forcing him to go back a jump, a very costly mistake at this time. In the meantime, Chaos-Fallen has pulled away from Totoca12 and isekeb who seem to have made a mistake letting DrChill come in and grab 4th, while Slayed fights to get back up top after the early death. RedOrBlue is into the last section and mistake-free will guarantee the win. Chaos-Fallen also lands really well into the drops, while Madara lands his last one. RedOrBlue is into the final hop after an amazing run, with a possible featured ghost available. Totoca12 hits the first drop while Madara starts the platform-bouncing and will almost definitely get 2nd, while RedOrBlue finishes in a remarkable time of 21.57 for his 4th first of the contest. Slayed, coming back from a major time loss overtakes isekeb for 6th. Madara makes a small mistake right at the end, but corrects and finishes in 23.97. Chaos-Fallen approaches the platform hops and could take 3rd and Totoca12 and DrChill round out the current top 5. Chaos-Fallen does the first 2 correctly but Totoca12 dies on the second one and could drop out of the top 5. Chaos-Fallen completes in 25.93 and gets third (and maybe his first podium). DrChill crashes at the third bounce and drops out of the top 5 behind isekeb. Totoca12 and Slayed battle for 4th, but Slayed makes a small mistake at the end and ends up 4th, but a good comeback from the earlier mistake. Isekeb and DrChill have had to go back to the checkpoint twice now, allowing Stevie.T to catch up and Selesele and precalculus are on their tail. DrChill finishes in 29.83 and Stevie.T could get 7th and does in 30.47 and isekeb who made a series of small mistakes at the end gets 8th in 30.87. Precalculus finishes in 31.97 and gets 9th. Selesele does the hops first try and rounds out the top 10 in 33.63.


Well what a round this was, not so exciting, but quite difficult with 1 deathless run. Massive props to RedOrBlue for his amazing ghost and beaten a TAS abuser. Also congrats to Selesele (Polarized) for getting top 10 for the first time and Slayed for the comeback after the mistake.

Deaths per person: RoB - 0, Madara - 1, Chaos-Fallen - 1, Totoca12 - 2, Slayed - 1, DrChill - 3, Stevie.T - 6, Isekeb - 3, Precalculus - 7, Selesele - 11. In the overall point score and I think RedOrBlue has breached 200 points on 201, while Madara is 3 points behind, Stevie.T overtakes Ultraviolet who didn’t seem to ghost this round and stevie.t is now on 132 points. Chaos-Fallen is holding 5th strongly and challenging 3rd and 4th because he is now only 11 points behind Ultraviolet.
