RACE COMMENTARY BY: CHARREDLIZARD21​

Welcome to the third round of Ghosting Battle Contest 2. This time the track was made by isekeb . Here is a recap of the top 10:


Off we go again and isekeb takes a very quick lead, but loses it shortly after. Ultraviolet first to the first star, but loses some speed on the landing, letting RedOrBlue take the lead. Into the second checkpoint and RedOrBlue and Madara are neck and neck. RedOrBlue takes the lead into the next checkpoint with Madara still in second place, with a big pack of 6 or 7 chasing. Many mistakes were made into the next checkpoint but RedOrBlue doesn’t make one and remains first while Ultraviolet catches up to Madara and they are now battling for 2nd, with a massive pack of around 6 behind them. At the drop after the next checkpoint RedOrBlue has pulled a big lead, while Madara pulls slightly ahead of Ultraviolet and Slayed and Precalculus have broken from the mid-pack into 4th and 5th respectively. Into the final hill climb to the star (which is actually a shortcut) RedOrBlue has got a comfortable lead and looks like winning his second round and does so in 16:47, while Madara lands perfectly into the hill climb and gets second in 16:87, Ultraviolet doesn’t land too well, but the gap built up beforehand has helped him secure third in 17 and a half seconds. Slayed and Calculus land terribly letting the mid-pack catch up, but Slayed holds onto 4th with a time of 18.63 just 0.04 seconds ahead of Chaos-Fallen in 5th. Stevie.T and isekeb tie for 6th in 18.93, a quieter round from Stevie.T who was in 3rd the other 2 rounds, but a great performance nonetheless. Calculus moves back 3 positions because of his earlier mistake, but still manages 8th with a time of 19.33 with DrChill a new spacebarrer with a lot of promise 0.3 seconds behind in 9th. Experienced spacebarrer Totoca12 once again rounds out the top 10 in 20:60.


This round seemed to be shorter but harder, and the race in the middle was very close. In the overall points score, RedOrBlue is first with 87 points and Madara is 2nd 3 points behind, looks like these two might go all the way. Stevie.T is in third with 66 points with Ultraviolet 3 points behind and Slayed moves into 5th with 45 points. From my sources, Coated_Badger was slowest with 1:11.70 just 0.27 seconds behind dantexpress . ROUND 4 OPINIONS​

so round 4 is over and we have a few things to talk about. first things first, i apologize for not writing one of these for last round because even tho if the material wasnt long enough. i should've at least tried as the organizer of gbc2 and i did not even try. so im sorry for that. but it doesnt matter if its long enough or not i will try my best to write an interesting and fun commentary to read.
now round 4 was made by mR..A and it was a very technical track yet very simple and fun to ghost. i personally thought it was originally made for BMX (which i think was) but there is a few smart moves that could be on MTB that makes your ghost faster. and the person who found the route was Totoca12 which was a brilliant find by him.
even tho Totoca12 found the shortcut and he became first on the track, he did not last long as the 1st place holder on the global leaderboard, unfortunately. he was passed by RedOrBlue and a few others as time passed. although this is not the Totoca12 we are used to but since he is ghosting on a new keyboard its hard to deliver the same quality ghosts as a person is used to deliver. still great ghost by him and thanks for finding that route.
huge shoutout to Kazman and LabibZaydandy for being 9th and 10th! first time of them entering the leaderboard in gbc2. it was also the first time i had to make a top 10 manually because we had 2 ghosters who werent participated in the contest who were tetrationiscool and calculusisanigger(apparently there is someone making accounts with offensive usernames and ghosting gbc2 tracks). but tetrationiscool havent been seen in a long while and came to ghost round 4 which is awesome. Welcome back tetrationiscool !
as for the race, it was a very interesting one because Ultraviolet and RedOrBlue were battling for first place and managed to beat each other various amount of times which was really fun to watch. but i as i like to go all-in the few hours before a round ends, snatched 1st place from RedOrBlue . which was the same scenario as the second round. which again is not intentional its just i feel like this is where i perform my best because of time pressure. and this moment where:

i was really sad that it was very late for RedOrBlue but what can i say you should've gotten a better ghost. better luck next round. : )
and now once again I and RedOrBlue are tied for 1st place which is a very exciting match to see who can hold the lead for longer.
its also worth to mention the amount of people who had good runs but got beaten by the ending and especially LabibZaydandy and Totoca12 . labib gave it his best for 2 days yet he wasnt lucky enough to maintain his ghost as he was 5th when he got his ghost but ended up in 10th place.
