i'm making this bridge in this collab i'm in right now, and i'm not quite sure how to make it look old and rustic; i saw your video on the FRHD youtube page (the stone one), and i was wondering if you could give me some tips on how to make a bridge look older/rustic. thanks
i would make it as clean as possible and make it a complete bridge, then draw cracks in it and take chunks out of it to make it look worn and and broken in the case of it being old. a good way to do that is to shade around cracks to make them seem like they branch out from an impact spot. It's kind of hard to explain since I don't draw a lot of bridges. dunno how to do rustic.
