yes but the evidence is still falsifiable bc of its logical fallacy regardless whether the overarching claim is true

    America is f*cked...
    Had to say it
Corona cases have been drastically going up in republican led states while going down in democratically run states.
    Look at the stats

i went through all the states and put them on their correct height when ranked cases per million and i dont see a significant difference, the republican states' center mass looks to be a little higher than the democrats' nut democrats also stretch a lot higher with a few states.
(democrat cities seem to average about 8000 cases per million, whereas republican cities seem to average about maybe 8200 cases per million. not calculated, just looking at this chart i made so it could really go either way)

then i looked at the amount of new cases and it looks to me like theres no clear correlation with the state leadership and a spike in new cases as of recent.
(meaning when going with your assumption of there being a rise in new cases as of recent, i seemed to be wrong about 50% of the time.)

Looks like there are other factors effecting the amount of people who catch the rona than just elected state officials, hmm, could going out in masses spread a the virus? i mean the amount of new cases starts growing ~3 weeks after the death of george floyd.
i realise 3 weeks is a lot of time for the rise of cases to happen, but i imagine it would take some time for the virus to start to spread in the crowds if the amount of infected/sick people attending isnt high in the beginning, which i imagine it isnt given there is a global pandemic going on, you know, you wouldnt go rioting with a fever.

that being said, im not necessarily saying this is the definite cause of the recent spike in cases, but it isnt strictly tied to whos running your state.

i think it would be interesting to see a comparison between democrat and republican ran cities instead of states, but im far too lazy to go through all of them as there are just so many. plus as an outsider i wouldnt know most cities to check so¯\_(ツ)_/¯

dude really said look at the stats lol
cant upload images for some reason so no charts for you:secretcat:

i don’t find it a coincidence that the top 5 (and maybe more) countries that are affected by corona are all lead by right-wing governments

when you take into count the population of countries it looks a lot like the middle east is leading in that
    O.O' Shocking, I know!

the first western one is run by a socialist and is followed mostly by other south american countries among the middle eastern ones.
(ignoring the literal top result i mean its some tiny ass random island, i mean i wouldnt count vatican either)

what are you trying to say

just because i live in northern europe i should apply heavy confirmation bias when looking at statistics selectively? i dont think so, dishonesty is usually frowned upon

ps. did you know that the right wing populist party in finland was almost the largest party in the last election? so its not like its all that unpopular here either.
and right after the election it rose to be the biggest. now due to corona tho the leftist one in the government has grown :secretcat:

    edit:
if you get your view on scandinavia from someone like bernie sanders its not necessarily a fair representation:secretcat:

bringing up a populist fiscally left right-wing party is definitely going to destroy the berniebros and their perception of scandinavian countries:rofl::rofl::thumbsup:
