What music do you listen to while ghosting/trackmaking?

Curious to see what others listen to while playing free rider.

 

Pretty much everything and anything but mainly rap or rock lol

 

I don't listen to music

 

the glorious 6 second mp3 file when you finish a track

 

Hey that's what I do after 2 hours of creating

 

i create a new playlist every week.
so every week I listen to something different. my playlist for this week was late 2000s songs.

i'd say 80% of the time when I play/create i don't listen to anything.
although my output is a lot more when i listen to music, and creating stuff can be awfully boring sometimes without music

 

i sometimes listen to music.................it's electro/house music most of the time

 

Most of the time, I completely forget to turn on my music (even though it's literally like 2 clicks), but when I do remember, I have a great ~3000 song playlist that I made over a number of months that has a really wide range of stuff (mostly in various electronic genres).

 

May i ask, how any months?

 

Apparently, I added the first song to it on January 23, 2020, so not as long ago as I thought, but it certainly feels like it's been a long time. Even in the mere 4 months since I created it (and really, it's more like 3 months, since I haven't added much since April), it's grown into nearly 10 days of a wide variety of music, so that's sort of cool I guess.

My main playlist is about 300 songs and i started it somewhere around the start of the year, for some reason i tend to get sick of music easily then i come back and add tons

 

Yeah, I have that same problem sometimes. ~10 days is a nice size for a playlist because then I can just put it on shuffle and not hear repeat songs for weeks. The whole 'getting sick of music and then adding a ton at once' is how it got to its current size, but I think it's turned out pretty well.
