I created an input display for FRHD! This displays the inputs directly onto the game canvas and should work basically exactly the same no matter what size your screen is (or if you're in fullscreen or not). Also, because it's a Tampermonkey/Greasemonkey/whatever script, it will most likely work just fine with Polygon's Mod or anything else that you may have. As an added bonus, since I am in no way, shape, or form a graphic designer, it's completely customizable. In the script, I have commented near parts that are useful for customization, but any of it can be changed to whatever you want(just don't blame me if it doesn't work). The input display will automatically show the inputs of whoever the focus is currently on, which means that if you are doing a track, it will show you your inputs, and if you're watching a ghost, it will show the ghost's inputs. Enjoy! also, this makes watching tas ghosts so much more fun To use: Spoiler 1. Install Tampermonkey(for Chrome) or Greasemonkey(for Firefox) or whatever your browser-specific extension is. 2. Download the script attached in this post. 3. There are two methods to install it: You can either: -open the script up in a text editor, and copy+paste it into a new userscript. -import the script into the extension(using the Utilities tab > import file for Tampermonkey, I don't know what it is for Greasemonkey). Note that version 2.0 of Polygon's mod doesn't work with this mod. edit: Added pressed input color customization. (Thanks revelcw!)
I was joking but that is pretty cool, would be awesome for people streaming/making youtube videos etc giving away peoples ghosting secrets though!
dude put one of the inputs so you can see if the spacebar is pressed then you can see if someone spacebars and then we can open the non-spacebarers ghost thread/club thing again! sry not sry for the run-on sentence
here's the thing: -spacebar inputs aren't saved to the ghost, so a spacebar input would be useless for ghosts -it's pretty easy to tell if you press spacebar (since, you know, that giant 'paused - press spacebar to continue' thing appears) i very intentionally didn't include a spot to display the spacebar for these reasons.
You can just paste it into the console, and it works. Also, someday I might release a collection of various mods I've made, but I don't think that will happen soon. Sorry.
just realized i forgot to say thank you for this and you better make an extension with all your mods. if not i will be angry
Pretty cool. I installed it but I'll probably disable it because I'd rather use polygons mod or isekeb's discord emote extension.
