So that's it guys. We have our finalists:

It's going to be Anonyymi versus Calculus on the finals!

I'll talk a bit about how they did in the last round, but I'll do a complete recap of their journey before the final round. You guys have like a week to rest, haha. Since we have 2 Losers Bracket rounds to define the Losers Bracket Champion let's talk about this and about how the Winners Bracket Semifinals went.

    Winners Bracket:

We had the top 4 of the Winners Bracket racing in 2 different matches, , let's see the results:

In the match between ShamatoZ and Anonyymi, the title holder didn't disappoint. Got the 1st place overall (a 1:02.20 time) and took the W, while sadly ShamatoZ didn't complete the track. You did a great contest, and still have a spot on the 3rd place match, against BrendanMagill and the champion of the Losers Bracket. Anonyymi will defend his FRHD World Cup title. Will he be the first double champion of this contest?

In the other match, we had more competition than in the first one. Still, Calculus had a confortable win with a 1:04.03 ghost, against BrendanMagill's 1:06.90 ghost. BrendanMagill got busy with midterms and other stuff, so good luck to you with that, you did good once again, and will finish in top 5. Great job, man! As for Calculus, there's your chance to get a really remarkable achievement that only the great ZPresley did, hahaha. Beat Anonyymi in a match in a FRHD World Cup. Last year he won 9 out of the 10 matches (although one was tied with RedOrBlue), and he didn't ghost the last one. This year, he lost to ZPresley in the beginning and won every single match ever since then, so that's a challenge. Also, other than that first match he got 1st place overall in all of the tracks of the contest, so here's your chance to change that. Great contest so far, top 2 is already good, but here's your change to level up in the ghosting community once again. Will talk more about this when we are closer to the Finals.

    Losers Bracket:

Really cool round on the Losers Bracket as well, although I was eliminated, haha. Let's talk about the matches:

We had Uniior racing against Cork. Cork got the win with a 1:06:07 against Uniior's 1:08.93. Good stuff from both. Cork advances to the Losers Bracket Semifinals. As for Uniior, solid campaign! I didn't know much about you, but you did a good job, was the 1st place in a group with DblU, Slayed and Polarized/Selesele and also got far in the Losers Bracket. Good job! I hope to see you in the next one.

We also had Sannin vs Pie42. A match with 2 top ghosters in 2 differents situations. Pie42 had the pressure to advance being in the same group that Anonyymi, but did it well, with great ghosts. After that he surprised everyone beating spruce/dumptruck and eliminating him from the Winners Bracket. And now he's leaving the contest since his 8th best time overall in the track, a ghost of 1:06.33, wasn't enough to beat Sannin. Really proud of your evolution from last year, keep improving, man! You can go far in the ghosting community. Sannin in the other side, had the frustration to experience a premature elimination from the Winners Bracket on the Group Stage. In an interesting fact, both of the people that advanced on his group, demimondance and I, are now eliminated from the contest. Since the elimination from the Winners Bracket, Sannin beat weem, got his revenge on demimondance and now beat Pie42. And also about the elimination, he got 2nd place overall in all of the rounds since then. He's the favorite for the Losers Bracket, but anything can happen.

In the other match, it was finally the time. After surviving God knows how for many rounds, it weem's time to leave. His match was against Exylies, that despite doing the 13th time among the 13 players who completed the round, will advance to the Losers Bracket semifinals as well, lol. It's one of those times that you guys probably are asking yourselves: "How did I made this far?", and the answer in nowhere to be found, haha. But all the jokes aside, great job by both of you for sticking with the contest, sometimes persistency can take you further than your skills.

So that's one of the Losers Bracket Semifinals:

Cork vs Sannin vs Exylies - Really great match, let's see how it goes.

In the other side, we had 3 matches as well:

Joining weem and Exylies we have Selesele/Polarized on the lucky group. Although he only got the 12th best time out of the 13, he managed to advance to the Losers Bracket Semifinals, since Odala didn't complete the track. Odala said that he was busy some days ago, so I guess he didn't have the time to ghost. Good luck on another round Selesele!

In another match, we had the closest call of the whole Knockouts Stage so far. It was a match between your boy Totoca12 against Ultraviolet. I was sure that I would lose (so did y'all with only 3 votes, lol), but I tried anyway. The first time I went to check the track he got a 1:05 ghost, and I knew I had to do a really good ghost to win. I did a 1:10 first, then a 1:07. With a good amount of tries I managed to do my 3rd ghost on the track, a 1:04:60, that was the 4th best ghost overall. I was pleasantly surprised that I managed to do good in a round even without my good keyboard, but there was still like almost 2 whole days to ghost, and I wasn't sure if I could improve it, so it might not have been a good strategy. In the last day, Ultraviolet, as the great ghoster he is, he managed to make a 1:03:83 ghost, that secured his win. I had some time to ghost, but the internet on my notebool actually didn't work until yesterday, so I couldn't try to improve my time. I did try earlier, and although I was a bit ahead of my own ghost a few times, I don't think I would be able to beat his time, at least not in a few hours. So, he won by 0.77 seconds, which isn't that big of a difference for a over 1 minute ghost, and although I will not make the top 5 for the first time on a FRHD World Cup ever, I'm happy about my result in this specific round, so it is what it is. Congrats Ultraviolet! He finished with the 4th best time overall and I finished with the 6th. Not a bad way to leave the contest.

In the last match, spruce/dumptruck got the 3rd best time overall on the track and had a confortable win against Coated_Badger, that is leaving the contest. Great job, man! You went far on this contest, despite coming from a tough group with Backtwice and TuttiFruity. Hope to see you in the next one as well. Spruce is advancing to the Losers Bracket Semifinals. Congrats, man! I think the next round will be crazy!

So here is the second match of the Losers Bracket Semifinals:

Selesele/Polarized vs Ultraviolet vs spruce/dumptruck. - It's going to be crazy!

    IT'S GOING DOWN! Hahaha.

This round's track is another trial made by me, I hope you guys like.

I'll wait for the ending of this round to talk about both rounds. I'll make a quick recap for the Championship Finals as well. I'm trying to handle the prizes part now. I still have some things to wait from Char to make this happen, but I'll try my best to get some good prizes. We will have a good amount of coins + 40$ (from Eryp and Cork) for the pot, but anyone interested on helping with the sponsorship feel free to reach out. Also, since I'm waiting for Char for some stuff, it might not be delivered as fast as I want to.

huge congrats to Sannin for beating Ultraviolet , entering the match for third place. Ultraviolet will be taking home a 6th place overall, congrats to him!

Next round will be posted by Exylies , and the track looks good! Looking forward to some awesome races. Here are the matchups for the finale!

The returning champion and heavy favorite Anonyymi will be facing Calculus for the first place overall. Will Anonyymi take the title for the 2nd competition in a row? Will Calculus pull a major upset? Only time will tell!

As for the third place match, it will be Sannin vs. ShamatoZ vs. BrendanMagill . Both ShamatoZ and BrendanMagill are coming off losses in the semi-finals, but Sannin is on a 5 match win streak. Will he continue his streak into this match and take 3rd overall? Looking forward to an awesome competition!
