Not really sure what there is to argue about here.

 

Jon Jones is the GOAT. His failed DC drug test was Cocaine. He shouldn't have been disqualified for 12-6 elbows in TUF final , and the hit and run disqualification was a bit to harsh. Silva has had just way too many losses to claim the title, if he stopped after that Bisping fight, maybe he would have a claim to GOATdom. And Connor Mcgregor is overrated AF, wow he won 2 weak division titles, and kod some crusty 40 y/o recently in the first round. If anything, Henry Cejudo and has a better claim than he does. Amanda Nunes could be, but doesn't have the following and clout. GSP could've easily done it, but he finished too early, and Fedor dominated in a not too strong title, and ran away to Bellator before the division got interesting with the likes of Velasquez and Ngannou. Khabib is a possibility, gonna have to see after feb and Shevchenko's loss puts her in too weak a position to get the crown, even though she is more technically gifted than Nunes imo.

 

Your forgetting Adesanya, 18 - 0 in MMA and 75 - 5 in kickboxing, aswell as Masvidal who is only getting more aggressive with his KO's. Jones is a ***** and a liar, constantly calls out people when he won't even go down one division to fight Izzy, but taunts him to come up to his and calls him a ***** for not even though it's clearly harder, who has failed more than one drug test, and recently has only been winning by decision. I agree though he is good, but I believe Conor and Izzy have achieved more. You say he won 2 weak divisions but he faced monsters like Aldo and Alvarez and chopped them up. Khabib is excellent, but his strength is ground game which is gey af and boring to watch. To sum up Jones is definitely not the GOAT which is clearly seen in his power in the industry which is next to none.

Adesanya I can see him getting there - needs some more fights first tho, after paulo costa and romero he is in contention
Masvidak is too old, I can agree he has arguably the best ko ever, unless if ur a barbosa fanboy
Im not tryna talk about prospects, if so Zabit, Petr Yan, Holloway and some other badass guys would be up here, but Im talking about current fighters. Just because Adesanya has a mad hype train (deservedley tbh), I can't see him as the GOAT until he cleans his division, in the same way Khabib is, and Jones is/has done .

But you gotta be impressed with Khabib, white belt BJJ, and no doubt best ever no-gi, maybe even best ever (depends on opinions on Royce) grappler to have been in the UFC

P.S. Adesanya-Jones is a dumb fight

 

Khabib is an animal I agree, and probably the best MMA fighter UFC has ever seen, I just don't find his style of fighting as interesting or exciting to watch as high level striking. Although I do believe McGregor has what is needed to take him out, Tony aswell. Jones did not perform well in his latest match and I believe he should have one, and that the UFC is rigging wins for him to milk more money from him. Which sadly, is one of the reasons I do not like the UFC, and it will play into its eventual downfall.

Because arguments were pretty rampant throughout the history of this game and it’s alternatives & they would start up in threads that were otherwise innocuous. Trust me, I’ve been there for most of them.
