ENDED Free Rider World Cup 4

for me, the qualifying times are the most important thing w seeding. i think what was written was either very poorly phrased or just wrong. i'm going off of qualifying times for seeding, though will move people up if i see fit. take what you said for example: i'd 100% move bt up to pot 1 if it made sense to do that despite his time.
basically, the top 32 times will qualify and one's position on that list of 32 will be their initial seed. if it makes sense to move them up, i will. the only way people will move down is if people behind them will move up. none of this should be that big an issue since we're doing 4 pots of 8 people each, with one person from each pot taking up a spot in each of the 8 groups. this is done so we won't have sannin, RoB, and anonyymi in the same group or something like that.
i think what we're planning is to have the groups done by monday midday and have the matches ready

 

BrendanMagill You made a good point. I think Eryp and BrandonBishop50 already explained, but the Qualifiers will be important for the seeding, but they will not be the only thing that we will have in mind for this. But they explained it better. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear before.

Also, yeah I didn't put that much effort in my ghost. I only get my notebook back tomorrow, so I don't know if I'll be able to improve my ghost until then.

3 - The seeding is tomorrow. Your placement on the qualifiers could help you in the group stages, so let's go. We will announce the groups after the seeding process, and then post the match after a couple of hours.

PS: If will improved your time already, we will see it eventually. Just make sure to ghost it before 7PM EST.

 

here are the groups!

the first match will take place on the track uploaded by me later today. the 1 seeds in each group will be playing the 4 seeds, and the 2 seeds will be playing the 3 seeds (so group A will have slayed vs. selesele and dblu vs. uniior, for example). a win against your competitor will get you 3 points, a loss 0 points. in the unlikely case of a draw, you'll both get 1 point. the top 2 competitors from each group will move onto the round of 16 after everyone has played everyone.

 

Congrats to everyone that made to the group stage! There was way too many people (way more than I expected) for this contest, so we had like 21 people getting eliminated. Good luck to the remaining 32 players!
