Isaiah 6:2 - Above him stood the seraphim; each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. The angels described in the Bible don't always have bodies or faces, and they rarely appear in human form. I wanted to try to be as realistic as possible, although, it's hard to know for sure what angels are supposed to look like because the only people that have ever seen one were too distraught to properly describe what they saw. In some places in scripture, angels are said to have wheels covered in eyes orbiting them, or 4 heads with a different animal on each. I tried to find a nice middle ground between all these very strange depictions.
