Necessary Changes

Really, I thought the delete button was hitting "new message" on the forums and typing in Char

 

this thread is pure gold.

 

1 year 1 month later and not one of these features has been added... I understand that it's a small team of programmers but some of these seem pretty simple to implement (such as changing track description) and unanimously wanted. I know changes like this would do a lot of good for the site, and it would just clean it up so much. I feel like the thumbnail selection tool was why Canvas Rider just seemed to have an overall higher quality of tracks. If people are able to show off their best work (profile customization too), then new players will find a better variety of quality tracks rather than the (mostly) garbage hot and trending tracks. I really think that these need to be looked into soon. Sure the app will be great, but remember what happened after launching a half-assed FR3 after shutting down CR? Oh not to mention some people are still playing FR3, which blows my mind... some of my tracks on there have more plays than on here to put it in perspective... Funny how you won't replace FR3 with a link to FRHD (just that tiny link on the top of the home page saying FRHD is out!). You need to add some of these basic features before you push for advertising and mobile app exposure, or people will just come and go.

I almost feel like FR3 makes them more $ than FRHD
imagine if they had just waited 6 more months and released FRHD BEFORE shutting down CR...

I was trying to decide how long after the launch of the app I should wait before asking for updates to the site...

 

They aren't completely done with the app though because they are still finishing up android.

 

Hence why I didn't actually say anything...

I'm not bumping this thread because I'm mad. I'm not trying to throw shade. I just want to see this stuff implemented so badly... And so does everyone.

sorry for bumping this, but I think it is valid, most of these points are still essential features that are missing. I understand that the past four years have been focused on the mobile app, but it seems pretty polished and smooth after its last update, I think it is time to add some of these ideas, hype up the community again. seriously I don't think any of these features were added, itzchucknorris did an amazing job at listing these in 2016.
cmon guys even Free rider 2 and Black hat rider has a favourites/bookmark section.

 

instead of posting a new thread to ask about a favourite tab, ill just post here every so offten asking for one
