crackhead hours? I feel you

 

umm, is that referencing to crack drug because if it is i am not ok with that. i do not do that!

 

there are 2 definitions of crackhead:

1. a person who habitually takes crack cocaine. (B A D)
   
   
2. someone who is just crazy. Someone who acts like a crackhead (WITHOUT THE DRUGS)

I was referring to the second definition. Don't do drugs kids.

Doesn’t really relate to details directly, but any tips for preparing for the small, seemingly insignificant but still essential detail grind?

 

You gotta have fun with it, I think that's really important. Focus on things you enjoy drawing or want to draw. Don't even think of it as a grind and just start, whenever you feel its become too much of a grind/chore you gotta step back, take a break, and reset yourself.

 

Ight thanks. But. I do enjoy my current track... and I’m pretty sure that no matter how much a creator enjoys drawing vértice lines... it’s still a grind. I mean I did spend... the last two hours(?) just on the vértice lines.

Maple Any tips on making realistic detail?

 

You may use touchscreen, and if you do how? I just got a touchscreen and it doesn't work, is there anyway you can help me with that?

 

I don't use a touchscreen. Also I imagine if you don't have a stylus for it, your touchscreen won't be precise enough to be of any use.

It's really hard to give you the advice you need when I don't have an idea of where you're at or what it is you're drawing. General advice is make sure to use references so that whatever you draw doesn't stray from reality, focus on shapes(don't need to get caught up with all the textures and whatnot in the beginning), and don't draw toooo small.

 

I'm mostly trying to draw rocks and trees, which are a pain

 

Anyone have different designs on drawing boxes? I need some inspiration. All I got are crates.
