      I had braces before and I just let the pain go away. It goes away within a few days if you just got them

      I used acetaminophen(not Tylenol because it makes your teeth stop moving) and eating soft foods, and the pain should decrease in a few days. After that, it's mainly just making sure to not break a bracket and pain every time you get them adjusted.
