Really though, it's just because I like the original better, it's what I've been used to seeing for years. I bought all those hats when they first changed the system lol.
Before hats actually had value, you could look at someone with a horse head or a space helmet, and you'd know they must've won a good few contests, or were really avid ghosters. Hats are basically worthless now they're random. I actually got the horse head 3rd time in this system

 

I totally agree, seeing someone with the horse head was a rare sighting, it was usually someone you already knew because they played the game that much. I managed to save up and buy it just b4 they changed the system, but now its worthless because I can just spend 500 coins and have the chance to get a pink one. the new system totally ruined the aspect of advancing in the game. i dont even complete challenges anymore.
i think they should have added all the heads, but kept the old system.

 

I actually remember when the new hat system wasn't launched and i saw one of your ghosts when you had a horse head i was like "oh sh*t that must've taken a hella lot challenges to complete" but then the new system was released and i got black unicorn 3rd time for i think 200 coins...
So basically it shouldn't be random it's boring.
