yea i was trash at spacebarring for a long time and it was worse than when i didn't but keep practicing it and it will get a lot better

 

I would honestly quit if they removed spacebarring, I literally can't play without it.

 

When I started playing Canvasrider 5+ years back I naturally used the spacebar. I never thought anything of it until people talked about it later on. I remember letting a friend play one of my tracks on CR (never touched the game before) and he naturally did it too. I didn't even teach him the controls, but once he figured out that he could pause with one button he played the game with the same exact rhythm I did.

For me it is natural. I don't call it cheating because I don't even know how to play the other way lol. Shits impossible without spacebar tbh

 

so like do you just tap the spacebar super fast -- or do you tap it, take a look at your position, and then unpause and keep repeating.
sounds easier just to play normally tbh lol

 

From what I've heard, I think you just 'tap it super fast' as it simulates a slower frame rate.

 

It's more of a Tap Tap Wait Wait Tap Tap Wait Wait thing, it has a sort of rhythm to it

 

what are you doing? why are you coming into this thread knowing nothing about the topic, occasionally posting reply's that make no sense and just confusing everyone
how it usually goes: 1 you type some reply that gives the wrong answer; 2 cctvcctvcctv comes, helps everyone and answers the question correctly; 3 you agree with him; 4 make some other confusing comments no one can understand

i don't need too. Sometimes my computer gets super slow, so some of my ghosts are decent. So the product becomes the same. it depends.

Ghoster just makes cool ghosts and records.
Spacebarrer just spams the spacebar and pauses often to make sure they dont fail like little b*tches

 

There's a rhythm to it. I don't do it through every second of a track neither, but I use it in certain situations where I need to make a technical move or get a perfect pump on a curve. Anything precise is where it comes in handy and I'm pretty OCD with things, so if I don't execute something perfectly then I'll retry it many many times until it's right.

lmao if i need to land a jump perfectly or like get the right momentum and speed etc - i just keep retrying til i get it without spacebarring and ive just learnt to do it that way cant be fcked to learn how to spacebar sounds like a challenge

 

i was in the shadow of spacebarrers for nearly 3 years if i didn't start spacebarring i would've quit.
you will eventually try to spacebar, so the sooner the better.

Like I said, it was natural for me since the very beginning. I used to play a lot and the best people I knew used spacebar. I'm not trying to argue saying it's more convenient. I'm not saying it's better or worse. It's a technique and above all it's on a computer game lol. Play how you want I was just telling you what I know.
BUT if anyone wants smoke, challenge me to a trick ghost... "Spacebarrers" vs ghosters

 

Knock the hell off already. The way you're convincing me to avoid what's up here is cringeworthy. I could not survive that way and therefore became troublesome about this persuasion. Keep this in mind furthermore:
