you should ask cityshep xDDDD no but seriously you have a lot of freedom with this sort of track, spruce, CityShep, mmi, pssst (even Skeeny's RCE) etc are great examples of tracks like this with different themes and detail. find something you like and draw it around the track
i'd say do some plants, i have yet to see a really cool terrarium track just don't do a cave, pretty saturated market rn
detailing what? it's a colossally broad question. id have a read through this thread, a lot of people have given a lot of tips over time
Hi! I'm kind to new to this game(3 months), so I have been trying to learn about detailing. I'm currently working on a track, but a few issues have come up. #1. I don't know what to put in between the mountains(background) and track (foreground). There's just a big white hole. Here's a few photos: can you see the gaping gap? Also i'm having trouble with clouds. Here's my best attempt: Any feedback and advice would be great, As I'm really excited to keep working, but a little stuck. Thanks!
The gap between track and mountain could be filled with anything you like: more rocks, trees, bushes etc, or you could make the mountains extend all the way to the bottom of the track so there is no gap As for clouds, I made a tutorial on how to draw them a while back. You can find it in the original post of this thread, in a spoiler
Spoiler: Step 1 Click this button, which is located at the top and bottom of a forum page Spoiler: Step 2 Then when you are on page 1, scroll down until you can see this spoiler and click it. After Ishu's tutorial on drawing bark, you will see my tutorial for clouds
wow! i had no idea there was all this stuff! i was searching this whole thread for good tips, and right there! thanks!
My bark tutorial is really bad Maple you should delete that so people dont accidentally use it I can do a new one if anyone wants
