i dont play anymore because all the good trackmakers left, so now im just talking with friends i made

there is no more innovation coming out of new trackmakers like there was with the old ones, it's just copy-paste styles these days

tbh a big part of the active members of the forum is 16 +, all we need is new generations. when you're 16, you dont have the time for this kind of ****. but when you're 13-14 yo u still have some spare time to draw some trees on a biking game and improve your skills.

 

The community killed itself.

Yeah its not that I dont have time for the game its just that its about as fun as hay day.

 

If all the features that were desperately asked for way back when (refer to itzchucknorris post) and were implemented, maybe track makers would have stayed. They're the backbone and driving force of the community. Right now their is no big incentive for them staying. But you also can't expect everyone to stay here for ever, things change.

Eh I disagree. The people that really cared about this place got bored or busy, sometimes both. Nothing is motivating you but a pretty damn cancerous community and yourself, and speaking from experience self-motivation for a free bike game when there are so many more things that could be done is just not realistic. Giving shitty work credit wouldn't have helped anyone, especially the ones who really cared.

Also because the big trackmakers decided to all make giant magnum opus sized tracks and got burnt out but thats not the point.

 

I think a lot of it has to do with all the old track makers getting older and getting busy with their life. I used to be on here all the time last year, especially with high school and not much else to do. College started and this game is now on the bottom of my list. I'm only on here like once or twice a week for 10 minutes. I'm sure that similar things have happened for many of the other track makers too.

Honestly, THEend is very right. All the old track-makers got burnt out, and many of the newer track-makers feel as though they can never live up to the name of their predecessors so they don't try. Realistically, without people trying to be better than those before them, the community dies because no one is willing to step up and make something unique or new to spark conversation and ideas.

kids complain about needing a new update.
gets new update.
5 minutes later complains again

Can confirm, burnt out

 

I am sick of freerider's BS. Choose a F*****g web page color and stick with it and get back to adding stuff to the GAME and not the interface. I am sick of them blaming it on the IOS release, I know it, we know it, the moble version of this game is going to be crap, even on an Iphone plus sized screen. The screen is too small, yet just big enough to capture (apperently all) of freeriders attention, and now nothing is happening. You know the game version is a letdown when it is beaten out by its much older predicessor (freerider 2).

 

I agree, but there's no use in complaining. The new interface does suck and they should focus more on updates, but at least it shows they care about the game still.

 

Imagine if they changes the Forums to blue
