Freerider Has lost control of their own game

Lately freerider has been hit by hateful, inappropriate, targeting tracks. Tracks like the one by squizzdaddy which was titled "A track for Kebab", I have been playing freerider HD on and off for 3 years. I know these types of tracks existed but whats different between ones published then and the ones now is that these tracks get attention. As of now "A track for Kebab" is first on the hot tracks and 3rd on trending. While these tracks are getting attention good tracks are falling through the cracks. This is a result of low traffic (not giving good exposure for good tracks) and more spam tracks. Spam tracks is what is currently posted under "newest tracks" (low effort crappy tracks which consist of a few lines and a star). The result of spam tracks is that good tracks get pushed off the page quicker. The result of these forces in compound is that freerider has become a very hard society to new comers. If you dont have subs it is VERY likely your good tracks will get no attention. This means less good tracks and good track authors, and most important, less new members. This is all I have to say.

 

I have had several accounts, the most successful one had 50 subs and I reached max number of tracks so I started another account thinking it would be easy to get subs if I put effort into what I published and boy was I wrong. Making a name for yourself in this game is VERY hard. Its like some hazing tradition in which you get ignored (unless you are lucky) for the first 30 tracks. (First account was 1onetracksogo called my self "Bermuda")

the tracks are pretty funny tbh but it is taking over a fraction of the database

 

Char needs to start banning some people and needs to put out an announcement or something at least

Iv removed those tracks.
There is no truly good way to monitor these tracks other than looking at each one.
We are in a moderator transition point right now. Report them to me and I'll delete them. That's all I ask.

a good strategy i believe to get past these so called "cancer" maps is to have certain key members of the community who are known for their good maps to be able to commend tracks they think are highly commendable. This would then place those maps higher up on trending and hot or whatever. This would delete all chances of "cancer" maps getting high traffic. Char

 

Yeah, I think it would probably be easier to give a select few the ability to hide tracks.

 

Sorry man. I wont be uploading any tracks like this. Kebab is someone i know irl and it was not serious. The majority of my other tracks that have been gaining attention lately are not spam. Sorry Again

I would normally understand that it is hard monitor freerider, but those tracks were high up on the trending list and was on the home page of freerider for some time. The freerider admin reacted faster when m1.c3 made a track generator then when someone posted agressive tracks targeting other players.

 

I am not usally a nanny when it comes to swearing but I wrote about it to prove a point that the staff at freerider doesnt pay enough attention to what people are doing on this game. As time goes on I feel more and more like the game makers dont care or just ignore the community which they created. I used your track as an exsample of them falling asleep at the wheel.

 

Its alright I do the same to my friends, I just want to show how freerider staff can be ignorant to what is going on with their game. A while ago m1.c3 made a track generator and when the producers found out they were quick to give an ultimatum of unposting the track generator or they would ban his account. I dont see why they would fight that battle while they would turn a blind eye to what you did.
