use the line tool

 

i personally believe that using the line tool gives you more precision and makes tracks/ detail much cleaner

 

Oh, I get it now, it's more precise on computers, but I'm on mobile, where you can't see exactly where the line starts

You can scale it larger or use straight lines to make the curve

only use brush if you plan on deleting double lines, that looks terrible

 

Not really, when you detail very thoroughly it's very hard to tell if you used double lines

 

thats still aids though and doesn't mean you detailed thoroughly, just went over it multiple times to hide the double lines

 

The closer the lines are together makes the double Line disappear

 

what do you mean by double line?

You cross a line with another line, basically when 2 lines touch

i mean when you make a straight line with brush and you get two lines in place of where one should be, like this

it looks sloppy and I notice it all the time in tracks from people who can't brush properly / just started brushing

 

anybody use a tablet for detailing? it probably ends up pretty messy, I just feel like I'm clicking *a lot* when I'm doing in-depth detailing

 

Alot of people do, in fact sometimes i wish i had a tablet, it makes it easier to detail cuz you can just scribble lines on your couch
