We're changing the system so that all tracks require a poll to vote on before they can be featured. Previously we just talked about the track, and came to a conclusion, but then assumptions would be made on how the conversation went.
Because we are adding more feature track moderators, we need a voting system. Either way, we do keep a record of who featured what, so it's easy to undo everything and blame those who did wrong.

That's because it all used to be within a very heavily used private messaging thread that ended up being 60 pages (pre sure that was the second thread too) but I get you, public voting system, no one can be blamed for "under-par" features but considering I guess the ball wants to be lowered wouldn't it be easier?
