Where do you get your ideas for your tracks? That's a question I wonder every time. Will someone tell me what's the reason they make tracks like the way they are, with their scenery and all? Is it creativity or is it someone's else idea that you asked for? I wonder these days...
It can depend what you want to accomplish with your piece. Sometimes pure imagination or even emotion.
Okay... then what about those wheelies and brushes? I don't think that anyone will start imagining a bunch of lines on a map. Much to the fact that I also don't think that drawings lines and curves is fun since making those are quite hard if you want it to be perfect. Or is it just because those kind of tracks usually get you lots of likes and subs?
Just don't make wheelies, they'll get you on trending but they won't get you the love of the elite people of the forum
Aahaha wasn't planning too besides they probably take forever too make since I'm pretty sure they are hard to make. Is that the reason why people make them though? Just to get on trending?
Well they don't seem like the expression of an artistic desire to me... As for inspiration for actual tracks, look around you! Watch a movie, play a video game, play other peoples tracks. Try rayman origins videos on youtube, or ori and the blind forest or even super mario!
well, i take inspiration from the places. i live in Paris so if i go to a place like a skatepark, then i have more abilities to draw a skatepark. And it works with every place. Then it depends of my inspiration, and the lack of inspiration comes often. Also i take a lot of inspiration of books, video games and movies (Monthy Pythons my bois). It all depends of you and your feelings.
Deep internal conflicts.. I don't know how to express myself in real life so I try to fill the empty void with black lines on a white screen.. each tear I shed is converted to a yellow goal that the cyclist (who is also lonely) must reach. This game touches me in places i am not touched by anyone else.
They can be very difficult to make depending on the type of wheelie. To quote Stanley Kubrick ". . .Although it can be like trying to write War and Peace in a bumper car in an amusement park, when you finally get it right, there are not many joys in life that can equal the feeling." I like to relate this to auto-making. They are difficult, but when you get them just right, they're amazing.
The last two featured tracks of mine I was inspired to start by finding amazing places on Earth (Hellirinn was based on the Vietnamese cave Son Doong), but I finished both of them after being inspired by what I was reading (Frank Herbert's Dune made me finish Sahara, Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth for Hellirinn).
honestly google maps is my inspiration i travel the world while sitting at my desk and im like damn dude i wish i had the money to travel to all these places like ive never left my country, but i explore places in other countries and im like dude i wish i was there - so i make places like them and explore those places with my little bike on my computer screen i guess its my way of coping with having a travel bug i can't address yet
