Is there a way to draw a perfect circle using grid and curve tool? I make a box with four quadrants and everything but they always tend to bulge to the corners a bit too much, or not enough. Tips?

Mine looks a bit better, doesn't have the pinched tops and sides, but still not perfect.

      Here:
For small ones, make grid size 5
Draw a cross and connect the corners

Draw a short line atop each corner
      Screen Shot 2016-06-11 at 7.54.19 PM.png
Draw a curve one square unit away from the corner of the two corners
      Screen Shot 2016-06-11 at 7.54.48 PM.png Screen Shot 2016-06-11 at 7.55.07 PM.png
Repeat for the next three corners and erase the inside.
      Screen Shot 2016-06-11 at 7.55.43 PM.png
Adjust grid size and size of curve for bigger circles.
(This is the smallest circle that still looks decent)

This is how I make circles :I

Yeah, that's what i do, but at some sizes it just looks bad. I was trying to make a sun, but the rest of the idea for it (not on the code) turned out dumb. This was the best circle I could make.

      Double post.

I did some math (Pythagorus' theorem, nothing complicated), and found that for a circle with a radius of 10 grid units, at 45 degrees the circle should be intersecting a point ~7.1 units up and away from the origin of the circle. To do this while using curve tool, that means, with grid on, bringing the cursor one diagonal unit short of to the corner of the box. But as the radius increases, so will the distance from the corner that you'll need to place your cursor. And even at 10 units, the places where the curve tool lines meet, still looks weird, it must not be a perfect curve or something.

I made a way to make pefect circles if ou want to use it (attached). But other than that, the best way is to do it by eye.

Parasite I don't really know how to do a sun, but I would start by making it a perfect circle (Using sine and cosine). I could make a tutorial if you want, but it may take a while.

So your sun would just be a circle in the sky? No rays at all?

Straight rays if clouds are nearby, possibly lines running parallel to the sun if it is very low.
