Why can't we all be grateful that people put time and effort into their work, instead of accusing others of copying others work. We should live in harmony and appreciate what others have done. Also quit treating others as if they are gods, they are humans the same as we are. They aren't any more special than you. They just put more time and effort that others into developing an artistic skill.

 

To an extent, elitism is what creates great trackmakers. One must first realize "I suck compared to those guys" to actually improve.

you can only improve if first realize how bad you really are, if you think your the best out there you will never really improve like you should.
i know i probably look stupid saying this because i'm a noob compared to all of you guys, but it is still true

 

maple is directly influenced by lolz, and not the other way around. it is undeniable, and one would have to be blind to think otherwise (or a suckup). Maple knows it too, as i have had to point him into doing more discrete choices, detail-wise, before.
Cataclysm is also equally influenced such as any member of the "sub-elite" and "elite" is. Lolz sets the standard, and always have, if maple wanted to create something completely new, stylewise, he could too. Its all down to laziness, which is the end factor that separates the best and the second best. I know them both very well, and they are two very different people motivation-wise (eventho they work slow as hell, being demotivated by the fact that stig will always be 1# no matter how good their track is)

Fortunatly, maple is bringing his own game into a branch of the way lolz would do it, and it ends up looking well, and it ends up looking maple-ish. It doesnt bother anyone but maple that we sometimes point out the relevance between their detail, sorry maple, lols. None actually care, we end up getting to play awesome tracks in the end afterall.
