So I finished the auto part of my entry a while ago and am now working on the rest of the track and after about 6 or so sessions of work and backups later it ******* brakes WTF i didn't touch **** and now the last 3 or so backups are broken?!?!?! i don't understand this bloody crap

and what i mean by the last 3 are broken is when i load the code in the editor(its working) then save and load again its ******* broken. and im not gonna work on the first code i load because the code i save will brake

I swear everything you do either breaks or gets deleted lol

 

This is the only time I've had trouble with an auto randomly braking in different places, I've had it brake in probably 5 different places so its not a part of the auto which is the problem. I've got a theory that autos brake because when you go to save the code it mistakes 1 line from being in front instead of behind(like when a line of brush goes fast one way but slow the other it kinda mistakes the two if that makes sense) that would also explain why straightaways brake more often because the editor has to check more idk. or this could all be bullcrap and im crazy. holy **** ive typed a lot is anyone still reading this?

 

Started working on it again on the latest backup that doesn't brake and worked on it for 5 mins then checked it, guess what? IT ******* BROKE IN A NEW PLACE WTF i can't draw two lines without it braking ffs

 

This is why I never create autos. They're too unreliable.

 

didnt you draw a brush auto on bhr and publish it on freerider and when you took the same code after exporting it from freerider, the code was broken?

 

i never make autos anymore because of that i was making a really good one one time and just broke, so i never posted it
they only work on bhr now it seems

I was working on an auto then saved and loaded the code(it worked) then save and loaded the exact same code without touching anything and it broke all in the same editor
