yeah, it can be through needles, but i actually live in a 1st world country, where doctors throw away the needle after each use.

We brought home a 2 year old Jack Russel terrier mix that had been in the shelter for nearly a month. He had two surgeries the day before we got him, so he's still totally strung out on drugs, but they seem to be wearing off a bit and he should be acting more like his normal self tomorrow (though we don't know what is "normal self" is like yet )

I'll try and get some pictures tomorrow for your viewing pleasure.
