hmm not sure how i feel about this now. i really just wanted to get my tracks in the campaign. i don't really care about anything else like the quality of the campaigns. hmmm maybe we can make the campaigns more challenging and then make a complete section of just my tracks featured on the front page? maybe a banner? that way I can get even more likes and views and we all win!
Yup just trying to see how long teamphantom would take me seriously lol. Not sure why he felt the need to say that the tracks can't be like mine but I figured it was a good opportunity to mess with him. I thought it was pretty obvious sarcasm but I guess not lol
ICN gets troll of the year for the last few posts lmao Also I pm'ed Char a few days after I started this and got no reply rip
There should be a thread where all official authors can post potential campaign tracks for whichever theme and then a smaller group of official authors can veto or accept/maybe
sounds like a good idea i would say most of the tracks put into these campaigns should be featured tracks
TP that is unreasonable and it will be hard to do because so many featured tracks are so innovative that they don't really fit into a campaign category, hence part of the reason why they are featured because creativity plays a large role in getting a track featured.
Still, that wouldn't be enough tbh. Say for example there were some good tracks submitted by new members that don't get recognition because they lack subscribers. (Or maybe I'm overthinking things lol) These would probably be missed entirely. There's only 30-40 Official authors that have a "decent" taste in tracks, and some of these people aren't even active.
Doesnt have to be featured, but needs to be of a high standard and should be made specifically for the new set of campaigns. Like I said earlier, fit tracks to campaign requirements rather than the other way around Instead of picking tracks, we could just put down the requirements of each track in the campaign (ie 35 seconds long, medium difficulty, 5 cps etc) and the authors then make tracks to them. We then pick the best track, or the only track that is submitted
There will not be enough tracks made. We just need to decide which tracks are worthy and then begin to group them together and decide the categories that way. If there's no limit to how many tracks are in each campaign, then we could also have authors submit new tracks to the categories. Side note: is there a chance that this even going to happen?
Idek, I pm'ed Char a while back but got no response. There arent too many that are already good to go imo, but I suppose we could fill the campaigns with as many pre-made tracks as possible and then make tracks where needed
It'd also be cool if instead of just always adding more campaigns having weekly tracks (1-3 or something like that) that you can complete.
Char has a lot of work to do between now and June, some with the contest and some without. Just give it time, I say.
