Made for round 1 of the Remix Contest, and inspired by this story of Prometheus: http://www.greekmythology.com/Titans/Prometheus/prometheus.html The track is split into 3rds: Before he was the Fire Thief. During him being the Fire Thief. And after being the Fire Thief. Spoiler: Track sections before I had begun Before: Before he was known as the Fire Thief and before he angered Zeus, he was one of a few Titans who chose to side with the God's, and because they won he was allowed to roam free instead of being kept in Tartarus forever. So, in the track, you travel to Tartarus and make your way through unscathed. During: Once he stole fire from the heavens, he immediately showed us humans how to use it and make it. Zeus, however, soon found out and swore revenge. So, in the track, you see Prometheus pointing to a flame in front of a human house, showing them what fire can do. Above, Zeus watches in fury, and clouds build over head. After: After Prometheus had done the deed, he was soon imprisoned on the side of a mountain, forever to be tortured by a massive bird from Hades. Each day his liver would be torn out and after it would regenerate, as he is immortal. So, in the track, you see a giant bird perched atop a cage, in among rock and mountain like terrain. Soon after the track ends, as Prometheus' story ends there for many a year... Until Hercules was born. But thats another story Enjoy! http://www.freeriderhd.com/t/217273-the-fire-thief
Tbh I think I have the wrong idea about the remix contest. I spend so much time slaving over tiny details that hardly influence the track, when being creative and getting an idea across is more important. This is a perfect example of great execution of a remix track. This is absolutely gorgeous, well planned, creative and symbolic - and it was a ton of fun to ghost! Literally my favorite mythology track now.
