Well, burning will disable your nervous system, meaning that you won;t be able to feel anything... after the flames have burned through the skin first. Drowning on the other hand is extremely painful and when described in detail is fairly traumatizing, as the water, when inhaled burns your lungs. On the bright side, during both scenarios, you would be unconscious when you die, which leads me to say that I would rather drown. (btw I hope this is hypothetical XD) Thanks to google for all that info.
