      Just to clarify on the whole rings thing. Its a thing in most U.S. Schools. You really shouldnt get your ring until you are a senior, even tho you can get it anytime in high school. And its supposed to dignify all the work and time you spent in school to earn your ring. Same with the jackets im assuming.
