Real Time Multiplayer?

Hello everyody, I had an Idea for a new addition to FR3 HD. It was the ability to play online, real time with other players. I think it might add some suspense to the game and may be more interesting if you could race more than ghosts. Let me know what you think.

 

Yeah, this is thought before, but implementing it is not as easy as thinking.

Thing is how many of us are gonna be online at the same time on the same track so there will be more fun going on? IMO it's still too early to decide.

 

I don't know. If they decide to make it real time multiplayer then maybe there will be a way to invite other players.

I don't think that would be quite the same since they are still just ghosts. If there was a way to make it so that when you start a joined game then it can't be started over so when you go back to the first spawn point where you start then that spawn point would act like any other checkpoint in the game. Their would be no restarts unless you send a rematch request and it is accepted or you accept a rematch request sent to you. That would give you the feeling that if you lose then you lose and there is a possibility of not getting another try. There could also be hosters and joiners. Hosters obviously host the group matches and pick the tracks, or the setting where the host can control if the players can change their bike during the game ( they might still have to go to the beginning (maybe that could be a setting too)) and if they can't change their bike then the host could choose which bike everyone will be using, whereas joiners just go with it or leave. And if there are those who would like to have a say in the matter without having one person choosing everything then they could join a group with preset and viewable settings where they can vote on a random selection of 4 or 5 tracks. (Sheesh, I'm thinking a lot more about this than I thought I would)

It would be just too cool to play realtime multiplayer. Maybe adding that only to pc and not tablets.

 

Lol, what do you mean by "too cool to play multiplayer"? What's the problem then?
Be afraid though, the tablet users may start hunting you down.

 

But what if you don't have a PC? What if you only play mobile? You can't even do anything on mobile.
