I recently went on a trip to Vancouver Island, here are a few photos:

This was taken on my phone like 40 minutes from my house.

 

I'm probably going to get a Canon EF 100mm f2.8L macro lens next month. It's going to be awesome.

 

XD I use some piece of junk Kodak EasyShare Sport that my parents got me like 4 years ago. Biggest thing I learned is that you don't need a good camera to take good pictures

 

I'm currently saving up for a macro lens and I'm looking for a good quality one, if you could show me some photos you take with it that'd be greatly appreciated

Or you could get the non L version, the only difference is it is less than half the price, doesn't have a stabilizer and its not weatherproof. It just depends on what sort of photography you will be doing with it. I'm getting the L version because I will probably be shooting in the rain and I think the stabilizer might be handy.

 

1) that water is incredible
2) that's an amazing quality photo for a phone

^^ preach. Too many people don't realize that photo quality has very little to do with taking good photos. If you take bad photos on a good camera it doesn't mean jack sh*t, they're just high quality bad photos lol

 

Yeah, its a less known spot in Sydney. It was taken on my iphone 4s haha. Probably only good quality because I cropped it out of a panorama.

i took these two pics in france with my phone.

 

On Thursday I got my hands on a Canon EOS 1300D, im so happy. A guy from Lumix was at the store and he was showing me some really cool stuff on this compact mirrorless camera and... It was such a blast
Anyways, the weather was stunning over the weekend (considering it's winter) and I got a heap of cool shots. Hopefully post some more later on. For now heres one of my fav's

well yea its pretty much the same... at least from what ive understood

 

maine is the closest to finland landscape wise, very rocky and filled with lakes and pine trees

 

northern and western Maine anyway
