Photography is my favorite thing. Although since getting a new camera I have not put it to good use yet but here are two of my favorite caps

I take pictures with an old nikon D200 that used to belong to my dad

What are you talking about only use a zoom when you have too? I use a 600mm zoom on a 1.6x crop body every shot I take.

 

I think he was talking about cameras with just the body kit lens. If you have a 600mm zoom ofc you would use the zoom

 

I'm not saying zooms are bad or anything, but I prefer using primes because they usually are few stops brighter. Anyways I think that most lenses will work for something and the most important thing is to just get out there and take pictures.

 

So true, regardless of what type of camera you have, just getting out and taking pictures can be very rewarding. Sometimes spur of the moment things like a quick sunset picture in pro mode on your phone can look just as good as the pictures you really try for. If you enjoy photography, then just take pictures, don't worry about everything else.

 

The type of photography I do is wildlife photography so here is one of my shots, a Sugar Glider in Sydney.

Finally got around to uploading some of my photos to imgur for you guys, keep in mind I have may more I like, but I tried to keep a gloomy theme for these just so you can get an idea of what I like to photograph most. Also I'm not one to stage my photos too often, I just keep my camera on me and when something pops out I snap a photo of it. Sometimes I go on little adventures but I don't really set up my photos in advance.
That being said, I'm guilty of shooting stuff on my phone if I see opportunity but don't have my camera on me, so keep in mind that some of these are low quality because of that.
