Despite the lack of support from the owners of this game, we are very fortunate to have third-party developers who donate their time to creating helpful tools that enhance our experience as riders and track makers, as well as improve our overall quality of life. Last night, I released version 0.1.0 of Free Rider Lite. In this version, I implemented linear-interpolation, resulting in smoother gameplay and a frame rate–independent game loop. Installing this version should be a no-brainer for riders, but for track makers, Polygon’s mod remains the go-to choice.
