Both ideas of checkpoints I think are (no offense) stupid.
The one that ISLAMUSLIM mentioned just makes the boards unfair.
The one that Blaze06h mentioned messes up ghosting.
Say in my ghost I hit a checkpoint at 5 sec.
ISLAMUSLIM hits the checkpoint 2 sec later.
Then I die.
I press enter, and what happens? It is only fair then that ISLAMUSLIM goes back to 5 sec and that checkpoint too.

Wrong! He will go back to the place where he was when you hit the checkpoint, not at the checkpoint along with you. (If that's what you meant. Sorry, if you didn't.)
